its just frusterating to him that durring a show with the NEW band, he is getting ppl coming for the shows and asking for slash, and doing stuff like this.

its not that he wants slash out of his mind, he just doesnt want ppl to be assholes at the new shows like this

That's awsome.  I wonder what Izzy was thinking when he said that.?

Probably brought a lot of memories crashing home.

well see on axl point he is right he wants the new band to go well. but on the other hand on the peoples end they are sick already of the people every tour they want slash. they can not help they love slash better. i feel the same way i like him alot i just do not bitch. i love gnr but to me this new band is not gnr in my eyes but i love the music so much i careless who is in the band. it should not matter to no one who is in the band as long as the music they know and love sounds great. the same way people bitch about solos in the shows i dislike them 2 but i would rather hear music the nothing in between songs

If I'm not mistaken, Izzy and Slash had a pretty rocky relationship as well...at least back in the days of writing the UYI's.

Axl is a right sad case if he gets the hump if someone wears a Slash shirt to a Guns show. After all hes happy to continually play Slash's songs night after night. He should be happy to see Slash's face considering how much money the guy still makes him. Especially when he tries to thieve his royalties as well.

Probably reminds him of how much he fucked up.

He needs to grow up and get a life.

you are the one who needs to get a life.   Theres no reason to go to a concert with the intention of being an asshole to the band.  Theres also no reason to expect slash at a GNR show in 2006.

And wearing a Slash tshirt to a GNR show makes someone an asshole? How do you come to that well rounded conclusion?!?!

Ridiculous.

Are you another one of these jokers that doesnt acknowledge that GNR have been around for longer than 2002?

ok, i was at nijmegen standing pretty close to the idiot (close enough to wonder 'did he just point at me?? Tongue ') and the guy wasnt just wearing a shirt, in fact he had a backpack on his chest (wearing it with the actual bag on the front) so no print was visible.  i dont know what he did since i was watching the stage when axl pointed but when i looked around i saw some guy yelling something and giving axl the finger, not quite the reaction of an innocent guy in a slash shirt.
