Alanis Morrisette did something different with the live DVD of her Jagged Little Pill tour (yeah, I know, get over it). They filmed virtually every concert which started as a small club gig and ended as a huge outdoor stadium tour with all the visual spectacles. As the concert progressed on the DVD with each song, the venue changed as did the "theatrics" of the show. Would be interesting if GN'R made a DVD in this fashion...the evolution of the Chinese Democracy tour 2006  yes, but not in that way. Then do what Zeppelin did with that DVD (with the desert cover). That was cool. But normaly I really don't like bits and pieces of different concerts. I'd rather have one good concert to look at then 10 songs scrambled together from varied shows. On the other hand........everything will do  |

Camera crews we're saying the same thing about a DVD at the HOB shows in 01. ?So I take this with a grain of salt.

Great news a brand new DVD 5.1 surround?  The Tokyo sounds sucks...LOL. Err dude...we had an agreement in here to never speak of the Tokyo DVDs (and that show in particular for that matter). Do not let that happen again... |

You know now that I think about it, this could very well be a DVD. Axl was wearing the same clothing as the May 12th show. He could of done that to make it seem that the DVD is from one show. Then he'll have the opportunity to pick which songs and which versions to use for the DVD.

a real tokyo quality dvd from hammerstein would be amazing..... The shows have been great, first show was my favorite but second was awesome too..... Ron thal is the people's champ, great guy...  I asked him about cd, he says fall baby, well he felt confident.. |

Thats pretty good news about a DVD...but we have heard it all before, I mean we knew they taped the 010101 Vegas show and never used that. Why would this time be any different?

I really think this will be seperate from CD. I know its a common theme, but guns could sell both of them in enough numbers in different packages. Someone in another thread also mentioned the fact that there was a t-shirt with a NYC logo. I think the logo that was only for the nyc shows will be used on the package. but then again, what do i know. |
