GnR aren't on Polydor this is bullshit
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polydor"Polydor Records is a record label currently headquartered in the UK, and is a subsidiary of Universal Music Group."

I wouldn't be surprised if they changed their label within universal. Chinese Democracy was scheduled for April 25 2005 last year with HMV. Yeah on a flier or something. wasn't it listed as under POLYDOR as well?

Yep, I'm sorry to say HMV has a habit of doing this with various releases not just Chinese Democracy. The release date is pure conjecture on their part.

I think its strange that no one noticed that GnR is listed on Polydor's homepage maybe CD will be released by Polydor and they are only listed at geffen because Greatest Hits was a Geffen release...

I'm a little more optimistic about this date than other past release date rumors because: -The band is touring well into the summer and a US fall tour may be planned. -The band have said new album in the fall.

Ok I see now why its listed as Polydor. Polydor records distributes the records of Interscope etc bands in the UK. That's why its listed as Polydor on the hmv UK website.

actually the cure, limpbizkit, snoop and Gnr are all listed on both polydor and geffen...so maybe polydor is just the UK version of geffen or something

Off topic: Are CDs normally that expensive in the UK? $17 pounds is like US$30 which is like AUS$45

I said on the record label holding up the CD thread that the date would be Nov.14. Perhaps I was finally told something of some substance from someone who might know...

well 13th september is definitely a nice date to release CD i think most importantly before the US tour.... looks like November 13th is the date that's listed well... that date sucks imo.... they should not play one single date in america without having released the album imo.... maybe axl is a little blinded by the succes in europe.....
