I thought Brain flew back to America for the birth? I doubt after 1 day the mother and child would be flying half way across the world?

No. She was having complications and probably had to go to the hospital, and Brain flew back. Complications doesn't mean she's given birth. It just means not everything was fine. Now she's given birth. Cons to Brain and his wife (who probably did the most work Wink love ).
