Yeah I loved it too, I saw it twice already and that's not enough. The new guy Brandon Routh pulled it off very well. Everybody kept comparing him to Christopher Reeve but I think of him as his own Superman. I love it when Lois's kid realizes Clark is Superman after he saw a picture of him on TV.

Yes we sure did and it's cool if you don't like him, we all have our own likes/dislikes.

Watched it tonight..........Kinda had mixed feelings, but overall it was pretty cool.   The acting was the best part, the plot was kind of shitty and pisspoorly written and Superman was pussed out in it, but it had some great points.  I would have rather seen Parker Posey as Louis Lane!  She's one of my favs.  What the hell was Kumar doing in this movie  rofl

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Well, try looking at who's directing next time then. Why you would ever expect anything that Brian Singer does to be dumb is beyond me.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'll guess that any 'plot holes' are a lack of comprehension on the part of the audience...

No, there are some plot holes, if you know the first two movies well. To name a few:

-A the beginning of ?Superman II,? it is established that Luther get ?life plus 25,? for the events in the first movie. But in the new film, Luther is released from prison because Superman missed his court date, as though Luther hadn?t been sentenced.

-Louis Lane remembers her relationship with Superman in the new movie, but at the end of ?Superman II? he erased her memory.?

I liked it a lot but thought the plot was half-baked.

I agree - I did like it, but i'm not a big fan of Louis' kid being superman's.  I don't like this direction, it leaves to much room for a 'Son of Superman' series which would make me sick.

-Louis Lane remembers her relationship with Superman in the new movie, but at the end of ?Superman II? he erased her memory.?

I thought the only memories he erased was that of Clark leting Lois know that he was Superman?

i really really wanted to see this movie,  but left the theatre more disapointed then anything i guess-        everyone mentions the best part where he took the bullet in the eye (and it did look damn cool- all 10 seconds of it) , the scene where he stops the airplane from falling out of the sky was also good.

the only person who made this movie any good was Kevin Spacy as Lex Luther.  he is a great actor,  any one else would have made this movie retarded

SPOILER:!   there is a part where Lex Luther makes an entire island out of kryptonite (or an island where kryptonite grows out of the ground) any ways superman should'nt be near that damn rock-  but nooo-  he flys his little blue shorts down to hang out with lex. who punches the hell out him and stabs him with a piece of kryptonite -  it should kill him but it does'nt? that pissed me off,  then what does he do?   he lifts the whole thing out of the water and throws it into space???  when just before lex was able to bitchslap him around it made no sence

oh- has anyone quoted from MallRats yet?  "no way lois lane could have supermans baby-  i bet he blows a load like a shotgun"  i did'nt like that idea either-  this movie gets 2/5 stars
