Your opinion...release CD with BH or have BF on the album?

Just kind of wondering what everybody thinks...I really couldn't make up my mind...and no saying "release two versions."

I wouldn't be shocked if many of the Bucket parts were replaced by Finck and Fortus. Not shocked at all.

Buckethead.  His parts from what we've heard kick ass and are highlights.  Buckethead's TWAT outro is up there with the greatest GNR solos in history IMO

Why would you delete Buckethead's parts, Axl obviously paid him for a reason, and deleting his parts would only be an action out of spite. Axl should let Buckethead be on the album.

release it...

if u try to change or re write the album everytime a member quits or is fired it will never come out.  Axl has a very hard time to release or make any music already. no need to worry about the replacement guiter players.

Richard Fortus, the phenomenon

« Reply #9 on: July 03, 2006, 03:14:15 AM »

I don't know how many of you went to see the recent shows in Europe. But once you see a show, you just realize Richard Fortus is the only real guitar genius of this band since the Slash's departure in 1996.

So now in 2006 I've just one thing to say: Bucket who?? Tongue

I'll take Buckethead on all three albums. It burns my ass that we'll never get to hear how Bucket's playing would evolve with this band  rant

I think my opinion would change if I heard a song that Ron wrote for the band, though. I'm waiting to be blown away by Ron like I was with Bucket's TWAT outro.

Bucket was a part of the whole creative process and deserves to be on the album. That would sadden me if Axl erased his brilliant solos on IRS and TWAT. Who knows if Bumble will even fit in with Axl's recording process on any future albums. Bumble might not even have songwriting chemistry with Axl. Gilby was fired because he didn't fit in with Axl's creative direction and it could be the same case with Bumble. I hope down the line that Bucket will have an Izzy type situation where he shows up and plays his solo on TWAT with the boys.

Bucket's parts will be on CD he said.

I hope they ain't gonna re-re-re-re-re-re-re-record again, release the damn thing yes

I am sure most of BHs parts have been redone by Richard or Robin
I am sure BH will still be on this album but I dont think he will have as much as he would have if he didnt leave the band

Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.

Re-record with Ron Thal. It's an insult to him to have him up there playing in GN'R and not letting him have any creative input into the album.

^Like Gilby was insulted? A touring member is just that. He knew what he signed on for.
