Just wanted to say that you people are EXTREMELY NICE
I befriended a family from Norway who is vacationing in my city and they are very down to earth and friendly people. I have been showing them all the hot spots to visit here and they are just too kind.
You guys rock

I'll never understand how it can be common practice to say that you love a nation or it's people, yet when you say that you hate them it is racism or xenophobia; it stems from the same logic! Which is a fundamentaly flawed, but entirely justifiable, one...........
The good ol' Norweigans......
Seriously though, I'm yet to meet one in real life. I don't think that I have anyway.

Honestly, I am American and I have come into contact a lot with foreigners from all over the world and I can say that us Americans should take note on the politeness of foreigners and learn how to be more hospitable.
Americans can be extremely rude people and I hate to put down the country I live in but it's true. The hospitality of people from England for example supercedes anything an American can do.
My favorite accent is people from England. I love to hear kids talk with their English accents.

yeah I absolutely agree on that, P?l!
we always have the "jante lov" buried in the back of our minds I guess, Im trying to break away from it though
Ive lived 3 completely different places in Norway, and people are mostly the same in that way. too afraid of what others think of them, I say screw that!
and Im moving to Brussels

cool.. the biggest problem would then be the language... or are you gonna do like a hell of a lot of the imigrants here in norway and dont teach it? hehe
also, people in norway are really really agressive when jungle comes on and crushes forward, making a mosh pit and make me struggle for not falling and miss the 3 first songs!!! thats norway people... egoistst
