So then the next question is it worth the wait??

for me it is , how about u guys

How can you already say that it is worth it?  You have not heard the damn thing yet.  For all you know he could be whistling The Trooper over sound loops of Tommy playing spoons.

I mean, come on, bear in mind that in the same time frame that Axl has taken to not release Chinese Democracy, The Beatles had released all of their albums (one a double) plus singles EPs etc. and were well into their solo careers.

Sgt. Pepper was a masterpiece, and that took 5 damn months, why does Axl Rose need eleven years?

But now take the 5 months that took to make "Sgt. Pepper's" and round it up to six, now that's a half a year. Now we'll take the eleven years and divide it with the 0,5 years and what do we get? 22 that's right CD will be 22 times the masterpiece that "Sgt. Pepper's" was, but bear in mind that CD is not out yet it may turn out to be even better than that. It's all just simple mathematics that we need to prove that CD will be worth the wait.

is that we have heard 10 of the possible songs already and if the album comes out with 12-15 songs , we could maybe hear only 2 to 5 new songs.

Chinese Democracy
The Blues
Madagascar
Better
There Was A Time
Catcher in the Rye
IRS
Silk Worms
oh my god
Riyadh And The Bedouins

Not complaining just hoping that there are about 20 songs on the next disk

I know it will be cool because they will be studio versions and who knows he may not use half of these songs on the list above

of these songs, the blues, madagascar, better, there was a time, catcher in the rye, and IRS will probably be the ones on the album, and possibly, chinese democracy.  oh my god is 7 years old and was made for a soundtrack, and silkworms was just something put together by dizzy and pittman, and riyhad is just a song they play live, but i wouldnt doubt seeing it on the next album.  thats 6 songs that are most likely gonna be on the album, possibly 7, so we really have only heard half of the album, some of which are only demos.  i am looking foward to seeing the finished version of TWAT more than anything.  from what ive heard, there is "something special" at the end of the finished version, and there is an orchestra.  its gonna be a song of epic proportions.

I think Axl is on to something... Play songs of your upcoming album live for a few years.. Then when you get all the feedback about the songs that totally suck ass like Rhiad and Silkworms, just leave them off the album...  Eventually you will have a classic album .   Roll Eyes

I'm still of the opinion we have not heard the majority of the tracks that will be on the first album, and the many of the ones people think will be on the record won't be.
