A song I normally don't love, Out Ta Get Me, is great live.  Hard to beat a WTTJ opener and Night Train's beautifully sick guitars!

My personal favorite at Hammerstein was There Was a Time though.  I liked Maddy this time around...but for some reason, Maddy sent chills down my spine in Boston, '02.  I got the same chills at Hammerstein with the closing line "I would do anything for you, there was a tiiiiiiiiime!"   yes  oh god yes.  ok

Buckethead era- Nightrain
Foot era- Out Ta Get Me- This has nothing to do with Bumble, it is just the way Axl is singing on it.

I've gotta go with Paradise City.  That's gotta be one of the top performances EVER by any band as an encore.  Even though Rocket Queen is my favorite song.  I hope RQ makes some more frequent appearances on the setlist.

from the old songs i'd have to go with nightrain
from the new songs: madagascar, finally getting to hear that live was awesome
better, it sounds so full of energy live, the demo sounds kind of dull (don't know if that's the right word)

The Budapest one is incredible. Some of the notes he hits in it are amazing, and I love the way he improvizes it at every single concert making each version unique in a way.
