well i only speak german and english fluently

other than that, i know a little spanish, and i can speak some persian, but i understand everything

Swedish..

And some Latin (studied it for few years in high school), German (i?ve been au-pair in Germany) and Spanish (few words, but my brother speaks it pretty well and i?d love to learn more).

i want to learn to speak Arabic. I can speak Mirpuri and Punjabi pretty well as well as English.

Finnish and English.. and a little bit of Swedish. I'm not proud about that last one, and I hate that we have to study that language rant And in the cinema, there is Finnish AND Swedish subtitles. So lame Tongue You can also see a lot of Swedish material on Finnish tv-channels.

We have the same problems with russian subitles in the cinema. But what do you mean by "have to study swedish" isn't it optional? If not then I feel sorry for you. We have a choice between Russian and German as a B-language in school,  I don't speak either well Grin  I can understand a tiny tiny bit of german and know some dirty words in russian  hihi.

Sorry to hear that, but it seems that you are coping rather well with it. Do most of the swedes who live in Finland speak finnsih? If russian somehow would become an official second language in estonia heads would roll? ? ....literally  smoking
