Its a number under your name that indicates you broke the rules. Big deal. Read the rules again, find out where you went wrong and dont do it again...that way you are also refreshing your memory as to what you can or cant do.

Am i right? Does it really mean that much to you in the great scheme of things that you have "Negative Karma" on a GNR message board?

Its a tool to help the moderators. The site will inevitably grow and grow. It helps them keep track of who is doing what at any given point in time. Just take a step back and think about what these guys do here. Do they get paid? No! (unless jarmo has started paying them again) Anything that makes the moderators jobs easier, i am all for. Hell they get paid fuck all and as far as im concerned, they are doing the vast majority of us a favour by taking time out of their lives to moderate on a massive and still growing message board.

Should they really have to explain, every single decision they make? I know i dont on a day to day basis.

Skeba's post has it nailed on. Read it...dunno whether its in this thread or another Karma thread (jees who moderates this section  Wink )
