Ok, i understand I got this first -1 karma point for postings links to the leaks when i first joined here.

i didnt know that wasnt allowed but i understand that i should have that point...

BUT, why did i just get another negative point?

As far as I know, i've followed every rule and I know I've never said anything bad about anyone so can someone please explain this to me?

I think there must be a topic in this section in which mods and admins notify the motivation of the karma points.

or, at least, notify it via pm.

the users receiving (negative or positive) karma points have the right to know why!

i do think this whole bad karma system has beenly poorly organised. shame on you jarmo. notification would at least get rid of the mounds of "wh? have i got negative karma?" topics cropping up

We don't just hand them out just because.

I have been giving warnings in the threads about negative karma.  Sometimes to specific members, but more often it has been a general comment.  For example:  "No insulting other members.  Continue and you'll get a negative karma point.  If the behavior continues, I then give a negative karma point to the deserving person and mention it in the thread.  I've not sent a pm because I didn't think it was necessary.  Anyway, if others in the thread see that negative points are being given out, it might act as a deterrant.  You know, setting an example.  We second grade teachers like setting examples.   hihi
