How do you think the new players view ALL the ex-members of GNR?? With the exception of Dizzy, you you think they respect the old band as musicians, their legacy and all that they've accomplished?? What do you think would happen if Tommy met Duff?? Or Brain met Matt?? Or Robin met Slash?? Do you believe there is mutual admiration for them to have a conversation or would they disregard each other all together?

And do you believe the ex-members respect the new band?? Sure, they're not happy with Axl keeping the band alive but I'm sure they realize the new members have nothing do you with it per say.? Any thoughts?

Well the VR halloween gig showed that Slash had no respect for Buckethead Grin

I choose to believe that they have a burgeoning respect for each other!

I mean, I never tried to fill Duff's shoes necessarily, but I definitely wanted to rise to the level he was at. Cause I think he's a great bass player, so I wanted to try and bring it up, you know, and do some special things, and do some different things.

Slash dressed up as Buckethead. hihi

I remember an interview Slash did once and he talked about how he knows Tommy and had only good things to say 'bout him.  I think they all respect each others as musicians.

Duff & Matt reccomended Robin to take over as lead, so without there reccomendation he might never have getten the job.

Also in a interview at the start of the year Slash said he knew all the band members with the exception of one I think (can't remember who) and he says he likes them all and has chatted with them before.

Didn't Matt want Robin to replace Izzy/Gilby, and play with Slash?

I think Tommy met Duff at a bar or something and went up to him and complimented him on the old songs and his bass playing.

Think Tommy said it in a interview couple a years ago peace
