KAWUGI!

« on: June 23, 2006, 04:54:51 AM »

Hi fellas,

as I walked through the park today with my MP3player cranked up, I realized something: From most of the "old" new songs, I still just have the first version from Rock in Rio 2001 on my stick, somehow like "official" versions. Never though about that before, but it's quite stupid, I guess, because meanwhile there where much better versions bootlegged. So what I am asking you guys is: Links to the "best" versions of:

- Chinese Democracy
- Madagascar
- The Blues

"Best" means:
- audio-technically best quality (soundboard would be ideal)
- "oldskool" voice of Axl, no 2002-helium
- latest version (with the new intros of ChinDem and The Blues for example)

Thanks a lot in advance.  beer

The boston versions of CD, Maddy and Blues are the best versions you can find from the 2002 tour. Axl has the rasp in the blues for most of the song

Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.

with the 'new old' songs, there has never been a problem with Axls voice, IMO... its only the 'old old' songs where i didnt like Axls voice... however, 2006 is a different story, its all fantastic Smiley

Go here and download the The Blues - Pittsburgh 2002 (soundboard) . It is awesome sound quality and the best performance of the song I have heard yet (Just listen to Richard's outro!!!).
