We all know slash is a true genious of guitar and an iconic legend in his own right, but what is his true shining moment in the guitar solo?
Greatest slash solo basically.  Huh

They are all great.

Some are underrated like The Garden one (at 2m 12sec). Or the one at the end of Double Talkin' Jive (acoustic guitar).

I always thought the solos sounded off live.

I always really dug his intros.

The Voodoo Child intro to Civil War... the Only Women Bleed intro to KOHD...

I'm getting hard just thinking about it. So smooth and soft...  drool

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the song, but that was probably one of the last great GN'R Slash solos we ever got to hear from him, and it's up there with my favourites.

I hope he pulls some stuff like that out in VR eventually.

It's so hard to say, but DTJ live was one of the best ever. Especially 1993. But I really like the sound of Slash's solos.. Coma, SCOM, Don't Damn Me, Estranged, YCBM, PC etc.

Coma is simply fucking awesome..

Bad Apples has a fantastic solo. And November Rain of course.

Err, and wasn't Slash's parts on Sympathy For The Devil replaced?

No, but Paul Tobias added some small lead parts and did the rhythm. That's what I have heard.

Best slash solo is the one from nightrain i reckon.  It has that fantastic atmosphere, you just feel like he's playing on the edge.  Coma and Estranged are both great as well.
