i'm going to victoria and getting the tube to hammersmith (it's only about 15mins on the tube) then it's just a 5 min walk or so to the distillers arms for the pre-gig drinks!

Umm... I've not actually been to a gig at the Hammersmith for some reason... Tongue? and I was just wondering about directions... we're gunna take the train to Victoria... I WAS thinking of getting a cab after that, but dat's really expensive, so I'm just wondering what y'all are doing... perhaps we'll see you guys at Victoria and all travel together...

whaddya think?

Not bad... but don't get a cab. You are just going to pay a lot for nothing.

I'm going by tube. I'll get it at East Putney, change at Earl's Court, get the Piccadilly Line (although Hammersmith is also on the District Line, there are more trains on the Piccadilly Line, every 1 or 2 minutes) and bam ?Cheesy
I've never been to the Apollo, so I was just wondering, how far away from the Hammersmith station is it?

And what time are you guys getting there? I think I'll get there by 6pm... I can't go any earlier. ?no ?Well, I have seated tickets anyway. It doesn't really matter what time you get there if you have seated tickets, does it? As long as you are there before they hit the stage...

Whats the deal with leaving bags at Hammersmith do you know? Me and the lady are flying in tomorrow for the gig then going on a trip to Paris for 4 days so we'll have a nice big bag or two. I suppose the venue wont let me keep it there do you reckon? Are the arsey like that?

i think so - i've checked in a small bag there before.

Any one enquiring about the venue location - as you get off the tube at hammersmith - walk through the underground shopping centre, past a pub called the trout (i think) and go into a rather piss-stained underpass/subway thing - take first exit on right (Queen caroline st) and walk up the stairs and you are facing the wonderful apollo! ?It is SO close to the tube (and opposite bus station if anyone is coming that way). ?it is signposted too.

peace ? anyone else on a countdown?? ? hihi

I wonder what time they'll get on stage.
I won't get there till gone 8pm but within 30 seconds of the first song (Jungle) with all the moshing going on I will probably end up near the front !
