What Would You Do, In My Shoes?

So, my mom is vacationing to California to see her two older sisters from July 2nd to July 8th, 2006. There will be 5 people going in one car so that means that there isn't a vacant seat. But, I really want to go, really bad. You see many of the people in my family in California haven't seen me since I was 9 and I'm almost 21 now, that means it's been 12 years.
So, I really want to go and I don't know what I should do. Now, driving my own car isn't an option because I don't own a car or a license. I survive by Mass Transit.
So, what would you do, in my shoes?
---
However, on a side note, I do get the house to myself for about 6-7 days which is very exciting and I will definitely have tons of fun either way but I don't know. What would you guys do?
I started crying last night cause I knew I wasn't gonna be able to go...

In Fontana, California. Some people don't know where that is, if you don't just let me know.

Don't go. You really don't have any relations with these people who are your family (I've been there) besides blood.
And you prolly won't ever see them again anyway........ so, who cares? Right?
Stay home. You'll have the house to urself! Get ur girl to come over and stay with u for a while. Throw a party, have an orgy he he, whatch some porn IN THE LIVING ROOM, instead of on the computer hahahaha.
You'll have a Better time anyway. Instead of feeling displaced and intrusive. Not to mention being bored as shit.
I hope it works out in ur favor

Thats pretty close to L.A. I know the area.
I absolutely love California so I would try to find away to get there. However it depends on how much you could use some time away from the family. I would vote for going to Cali. Even though you will have a chance to be on your own, you will eventually still be faced with the same options as far as where to go and things to do as you would have any other day of the week.
How to get to Cali is another challenge alltogether

I didn't explain this in my post, but they've come to my town before, I just haven't seen one or two of them since I was 9. I've seen my aunts 2 times in the last 5 years.
But, it's my cousins that I want to see. They're about 35, 28,27, I think. So, that's why I want to go so bad.

Could you tell your Mom you really want to go and offer to contribute for gas. Maybe, although you don't drive, someone else could. Depending on the size of the car 5 people in a car for a long road trip might be tough. May be better to put 6 people in 2 cars.
That or you could fly. I'm sure one of them would be willing to pick you up being your so anxious to see them.

Yeah. I could, I defin. need to communicate with my family members.
I could offer to pay for gas but somebody has already done that so I don't know how well that would work.

Is there anyone going on the trip that you dont like? If there is, you know....... a little visine in their coffee the night before the trip, they might not feel like taking a long car ride the next morning.
I'm not saying anything. I'm just saying.

I Know Kujo.
There is my mom, who I don't really like but I would never tell her that.
There is my aunt Laura, she's cool.
There is my cousin Christopher who is as annoying as they come.
There is my cousin Amber, she's just cool.
There is Amber's daughter who's very young so she's very snotty, if you get my flow.
So, yeah, I don't know...
I don't really want to posoin them or anything.
I'm sure there's another alternative.

Well the little girl can't help it she's young. Can she fit in the trunk? Sounds like Christopher is the one that needs to go.
I wish I knew a definite answer for you. Maybe chilling out at home is for the best. Even if you got to California, Fontana is still a bit of a drive to any place major, so you'd have to depend on someone to get around there.

Yeah, that's for sure. I wanna go so bad though.
I'll keep you posted. I really think it's one of those things that I can't do anything about unless someone cancels.

Well, I have a doctor's appointment and I have my 21st birthday.
But, both of those can be postponed.

21st Birthday!? See your cousins later, you have plenty of time and you can always fly into LAX later on. Parents away, house to yourself, 21st birthday...have the party of your life!!! You only get 1 21st birthday you have the rest of your life to see your cousins, maybe they can get together and come in to see you for that matter!

yeah, well that's another thing that's drawing me back. I already know I'm going out with my friends on the 4th, just don't know what we're doing. As long as I stay in Utah.
