GN'R had a show on my birthday in 1992. It was in Oakland, California on September 24. Then this year they have one the day before my birthday, I was pissed when that was announced and it was a day before.

But there were two concerts in my birthday

10.06.87 - Manchester Apollo, Manchester, England
opening act: Faster Pussycat
set: It's So Easy, Move To The City, Out Ta Get Me, Mr. Brownstone, My Michelle, Rocket Queen, Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Welcome To The Jungle, Sweet Child O' Mine, Paradise City, Mama Kin
audio/video recording?: audio
notes: After 'Out Ta Get Me,' Axl thanks Kerrang! and some other British magazines. While introducing 'Rocket Queen,' Axl says that they changed a part of the song during that day's soundcheck. Axl introduces the band during 'Rocket Queen.'

13 Yrs? ok

audio/video recording?: audio
notes: The last show of the GN'R/Metallica tour. Axl says how good Seattle's pot is and later he makes fun of Bill Clinton for inhaling but not smoking. He also discusses the presidential election and debates the candidates, especially Al Gore and his wife. DTJ is then dedicated to Tipper Gore. Axl thanks Seattle for all the great rock n' roll that comes out of it. Then he goes off on Nirvana and Kurt Cobain, calling Courtney Love a whore! Before the show, Axl was asked by security guards if he had a pass to be backstage! After the show, Axl tells the crowd that they're playing arena dates next spring and to keep their eyes open if they're interested.

hehe this is funny

07.16.91 - Tacoma Dome, Tacoma, WA
notes: Axl says this is the best indoor crowd he's ever seen and that the fans at the previous show in Salt Lake City sucked. Axl holds up a 'Fuck the St. Louis Police Department' banner that the Tacoma Police Department gave the band! The show is stopped temporarily after 'Rocket Queen' because a fan threw something onstage. Axl stage dives after Paradise City, then takes his microphone and "thanks the faggot who tried to take his pants off"!

and this one is special cuz it was in my country!!! Grin

07.16.93 - Estadio River Plate, Buenos Aires, Argentina
notes: This show was broadcast on Argentine radio.

Exactly one year before I was born..

07.21/22.89 - The Loft, New York, NY
set: Mama Kin, Rock And Roll, Satisfaction, Paranoid
audio/video recording?: no
notes: Axl & Izzy jam with some members of The Cult - Ian Astbury, Jamie Stewart & future GN'R drummer Matt Sorum. From around 4 a.m. till 8 a.m., playing Aerosmith, Stones & Black Sabbath covers! This setlist is incomplete.

And here I turned two...

07.21.92 - Pontiac Silverdome, Pontiac, MI
opening act: Faith No More
set: It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Live And Let Die, Attitude, Bad Obsession, Double Talkin' Jive, Civil War, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds / Wild Horses [Intro] / Patience, Welcome To The Jungle, You Could Be Mine, Drum Solo, Guitar Solo, Godfather Theme, Piano Solo, November Rain, You Could Be Mine, Sweet Child O' Mine, Only Women Bleed [Intro] / Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Don't Cry, Mother [Intro] / Paradise City
audio/video recording?: audio
notes: Once again 'Double Talkin' Jive' is dedicated to all the Presidential candidates. After 'Wild Horses,' Axl apologizes to the Michigan fans for the cancellation of two shows three months before. Axl throws up at the end of 'You Could Be Mine' and leaves the stage. He feels sorry for the poor performance and the band plays the song in full again!!

?? Why did he throw up?

Not a birthday more a saved my life day (like a saved your ass now sort yourself out day)  August 2002 had tickets to see GNR but got ill three days before the show.  Ended up having life saving surgery on the day of the show!!! Needless to say I didn't make the gig and my tickets went to waste (although I still have them in my draw).
