"Pitman was born in Independence, Missouri. He currently writes and records privately with Axl Rose, as they have collaborated on many songs for the upcoming Guns N' Roses album Chinese Democracy. He is a multi-instrumentalist on the album, contributing keyboards, guitar, bass, vocals, and programming. He has not been announced as an official band member, however, and mostly does orchestration, synthesizers, and sound effects when they play live. He compliments keyboardist Dizzy Reed on the more complex material that Guns N' Roses plays."


So, he plays some guitar and bass on the album too? anyone heard that before?

i editied something once a couple weeks back which was the right info... but i guess whoever check the info didnt think so.. and he deleted it.. so im pretty sure they keep it nice and factual.

The Chris Pittman wikipedia page was last modified only 2 days ago.. so whether or not its facts is up in the air, but if its true.. it is up to date.

Probably Pittman himself trying to gain some cred with all the people at the concerts who were like "who the fuck was the ghoul massaging that upright slinky behind Axl?"

(Seriously, I suspect he has played a big part in developing the music for CD but not that big)

One thing you do have to watch out for with Wikipedia is that all the musician profiles are made by either massive fans or bigtime haters. Anyone moved to create those pages is going to be biased.
