Half watching The Matador at the moment... I don't really like it much... but that might stem from my strong dislike of Piss Brosnan...

Well I did like the ending. It did have some very good moments in it... its just that watching certain parts of it made me feel really uncomfortable... like the bit when Julian shows up at Danny's house at Christmas... that was creepy....

Thats what was so good about it. You felt the characters uneasiness. I know you said that you don't like him but I thought that Pierce Brosnan did a great job in this film.
I figured you would love the "Margaritas taste better in Mexico" exchange:hihi:

Last two films I watched were Final Destination 3 and Last Tango In Paris. Watched them on the same night. Strange combination.
Final Destination 3 was suspenseful and graphic, but not necessarily scary.
Last Tango In Paris was quite bizarre. My kind of movie.

, so I didnt like the movie much either, but I at least I got to gawk at Pierce...keekee....Im with skynard girl the movie thumbs down man

A Beautiful Mind - nice, heartwarming film but definately not worth all the hype it got. I was very impressed by Russell Crowe but not so impressed with the shit story. -6/10 I guess

I know you like him, but IMO he's reeeeeally fugly, but I thought even someone who liked him would have thought he was even FUGLIER in that movie than usual... that moustache was just SO wrong on SO many levels!!

I've actually only seen three Brando movies. This one was the most bizarre. His character is very specific about what he wants. ?
It's a great movie though, with lots of memorable lines. "It's your happiness, and my hap..penis."

I've just watched "El Crimen del Padre Amaro" (The Crime of Father Amaro). I think it's from Mexico or Argentina. It's a tragic story based on an 1875 novel by the Portuguese writer E?a de Queir?s. I expected it to be lame, but it was REALLY good. If you ever get a chance, do watch it.
