I take it no one else has seen Hard Candy then....

I really want to see it, but I'm finding it hard to find a cinema that is actually showing it. It's called 'Candy' here.

The rock structure wasn't all made of kryptonite. Lex took that piece of kryptonite, carved a hole down the middle and slipped in one of the crystals he stole from the fortress of solitude, which he used the combination inside the missle he launched. If Lex just used the crystal alone, it would've formed a giant rock structure covering the world, but Lex's point with combining the kryptonite was just to kill Superman. But Superman was lucky enough to find a kryptonite-less spot where he could lift it from even though it did grow out right before he threw it into space.

Superman Returns - Brian Singer did a pretty good job with this sequel. I liked it a lot.

I saw TIDELAND last night.
Good movie.
As always with the Alice in Wonderland twist, the story is enchanting. add Terry Gilliams:

Pedophilia
Necrophilia
Heroin, cocain
Death
Retard

and you get a very pleasant junkie version of Alice. it's not trash or crazy as other would do just to be cool and hype (and complicated shoes...).

It's very good.

I wish Terry Gilliam would have succeeded in makin DON QUIXOTE, it would have been amazing !

Ahhh I understand... I would think that a movie which is THAT harsh probably won't show it everywhere... but if you get a chance to see it Kaybee... GO SEE IT!! Nothing else except Guns N' Roses should have a higher priority than seein' that movie! Eg: If you're going to see Gn'R and you see a movie theater playin' Candy... go see Gn'R, and come back the next day and see the movie!
Buuuut if you're going to go shopping with a friend or meetin' up with your BF or anything else... go see Candy!! Its fucking worth it! beer

Besides what SuperMike said:

There wasn't enough in that structure to immediately kill him but there was enough to weaken him slowly. Thats why he fell all the way back to earth, he was to weak to fly.

I saw the movie tuesday night and the theater was silent at that moment. I really thought they were going to kill him off.
I really liked the movie and the actors. It took awhile to get accustomed to seeing new actors playing established characters but it did slowly creep in.

This was Kevin Spaceys movie. The title could have been "Spacey Returns". From his first line "Keep this, the rest is mine." I knew he was going to shine. I'm not saying this was his best performance, but its a nice reminder of why he was so popular after "Usual Suspects", "Glenn Garry Glenn Ross", "Seven", and "American Beauty".

Being a big Marlon Brando fan, it was cool to get some new footage of him, and even cooler to see the "On the Waterfront" link with Brando as Supermans biological father and Eva Marie Saint as his "adopted" mom on Earth.

Considering this movie had the potential to suck really hard, I think they did a pretty good job. Yes it was long, but the only parts that probably could have been cut were the scenes of him randomly flying around in outerspace.

Just saw 'Click' over the weekend with Adam Sandler. I really liked it, but I'm a huge Adam Sandler part.

**SPOILER ALERT**

I think it would have really sucked if he just died at the end as an old man, good thing they had it as a dream at Bed, Bath and Beyond. But I didn't really expect it to end like that, I mean it's Adam Sandler!

Don't forget Swimming With Sharks!

I've never seen that one. I've heard people recommend it, but I never remember to look for it.

I should also acknowledge "A Time To Kill" and "The Negotiator" as well.
