Running Scared - not bad; I don't like Paul Walker but this was pretty damn good... 7/10

Home sick yesterday so I watched a few old ones along with 2 that I just bought:
Waiting...: The Ryan Reynolds playing the same character in every movie (Except Amityville) thing is getting old. Vince Vaughn he is not. Still had a few good laughs in it. No "Office Space" however.
Running Scared: The 2006 one with Paul Walker, not the Billy Crystal & Gregory Hines one. This movie was fucking intense. A fairly standard plot, with a few twists, but some damn good acting across the board and some pretty intense and graphic action scenes make this a potential cult classic. I'm glad I bought this one, easily one to pop in when nothing else sounds good.
I just saw Running Scared yesterday myself. I really dug it. Not a plot I hadn't seen before, but it was done very well. All this time I thought Paul Walker was a crappy actor, but it turns out he's actually really good. The woman that played his wife was awesome too.

Yeah, she did pretty well herself. Vera Farmiga is her name. I thought she was just going to be the typical wife thats just in the film for a sex scene, but I'm glad they gave her something to do. Even if it was a bit of an extreme side plot to the story.(Dont want to spoil it)

what a hard film to watch you felt no emotion from anyone there was no comic relief at any point this was a full on serious film and i am still undecided as to whether i enoyed it or not.
And as for the woman getting shot in the chest ive seen a lot of shit but that disturbed me but i cant explian why it seemed so real for some reason.

Dont hype it up to some unachievable level. Just go get a copy and enjoy a rare well acted/ pull no punches action/drama.
I started watching Swingers last night but was tired from along day at work, I'll finish it up this weekend. So far so good. If I didnt know that was Vince Vaughn I would not have ever recognized him.

Transamerica, great movie. Felicity should've gotten the Oscar. Surprisingly, it was extremely funny. I highly recommend it.

The Lake House
This movie was so fuckin emotional and amazing.
U have to get past the plot and just suspend disbelief and believe but when u get lost in the love story it is just so heartbreaking.
I felt my heart being ripped out of my chest at times and yes I cried at the end and havent gotten it out of my head all day.
Very inspiring movie.
