You know how in movies and you cry you just have tears rolling down yer cheeks and you sniff a bit? Well The Green Mile made me wail and sob and really fucking cry!!
That reminds me of the time my older brother took me to watch "Lord of the Flies". Everything was ok until the chubby kid got killed. Then I lost it. I was crying so loud to the point of annoying the other people in the theater. My brother made us leave the movie early. He was so embarrassed. No wonder he didn't like taking me places. But I was only 9 years old. I have control over my emotions now.
Going to see The Da vinci Code tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be sold out.
Ya, Journey... I watched the Green Mile only back in January...
And yea that bit in LotF made me cry too...
Movies that make me cry I consider to be great movies... because then I know that the movie really got to me, really made my imagination go to town, made me think!
Crash also made me cry... not as much, but even so it really was an awesome movie and deserved every Oscar it got!
And I'm seein' Da Vinci Code on Saturday!

only on the close ups of Kong other than that it was so much blue screen and the long distance shots of kong were out of a playstation game to many films rely on blue screen and digital characters and it just isnt real enough yet. the only blue screen film that really works is sin city imo

On HD I found many scenes looked great. Kong fighting the 3 dinos for instance.

The DaVinci Code- Not as bad as the revies make it out to be.I mean hell it's a summer popcorn flick ,not Brokeback Mountain
Plus Paul Bettany is pretty fucking creppy in the flick
All in all a solid 7.5/ 10

I saw it today.? It's entertaining enough but nought special. Paul Bettany definately sucked but I think Tom Hanks was worse.? I swear all he does in his films is just show up and read his lines!? Everything seems so accidental with him - like he's just wandering around and all this crazy stuff's happening to him and every so often someone will tell him what to do or he'll work something out, but it won't really explain how he worked it out and then baddies will come and someone will have to save him.? Pretty lame really, though the good bits are good (I thought Silus was great!).

Da Vinci Code. I thought it was a damn fine film.
The angel character was great in his role and Hanks delivered. Like Timothy said, I think 7.5 is a fair score.

Timothy Olyphant
(Fantastic actor.....go watch

Katie Holmes
&
Jay Mohr
(Another top actor). Interesting tale of a weekend gone wrong, 3 different adventures, all connected, all enjoyable with some dark humour in there to.
