because Spiderman and walk the Line are the EXACT same movie, the only difference is that Johnny cash does not wear red spandex.

Okay, Vogler... Roll Eyes

For fuck's sake!! Spiderman is a shit piece of Oscar formated CRAP aimed at 12 year olds and younger.

Oh dear.  Undecided

I watched Full Metal Jacket for the first time on Sunday night... What a kick ass movie!

Dig!

I love the first hour of that flick.  R. Lee Ermey fucking cracks me up!  There was a story that he wasn't originally selected to play the part of Hartman until he actually went in the director's office and started drilling his ass like he does the privates in the movie.  He ranted for 10-15 minutes without stuttering, taking a deep breath, or saying anything twice.

Awesome.

I dont understand how some of u are raving about "Wolf Creek"

I thought that was one of the worst movies Ive watched in the past couple years. It had a few nice moments at the end but overall compared to other horror flicks, it was very tame.

In case you haven't seen it yet D, a horror film that is worth the hype is "High Tension."  It was in theaters a little over 6 months ago I think.  Maybe a little longer.  Anyway, it's on DVD now so check it out....

"The Grizzly Man"

What a trip!

Never have I seen somebody with such a death-wish.

It would be something to hear the recording on that video camera.....

[Walk the Line was about Johnny Cash' raise to popularity you shithead!! rant
still
it's an awful oscar formated movie.
it's boring. the singin sucks. it's obvisous. it uses the oh-so-fancy formula " fall raise fall happiness "
i dont care if that's what happened to cash. the movie is bad.
and beware, guys, the trend is coming, i can foresee at least 20 biographical movies in the coming years.
maybe axl rose Smiley

still, i'd be happy, if directors actually told us new stories.
because Spiderman and walk the Line are the EXACT same movie, the only difference is that Johnny cash does not wear red spandex.

Boy, you sure are very picky about movies.

HOW THE FUCK are Spiderman and Walk The Line the same movie!!!? Huh

For fuck's sake!! Spiderman is a shit piece of Oscar formated CRAP aimed at 12 year olds and younger. Walk The Line is a BIO-pic which involves great acting, and great fucking music!!

End fucking of.

Spiderman is one of the best film series thats been on cinema. How could you say it's aimed at 12 year olds? When i was 12 i didnt have the capacity to understand anything marvel comics.

High tension is a rip off of a Dean Koontz novel called "Intensity"

so my DeanKoontzforum and I kind of boycotted the film but I may check it out eventually.

No way... Spiderman, although a kewl idea, did in NO WAY any justice to the original comics. Yea the movies are good for kids who find movies easier to understand, but still...

The Spiderman movies just make me sick to my stomach... with all the "special effects" and shit that is just ruining cinema nowadays.

Walk The Line....  now THAT didn't NEED any special effects because it was ALL ABOUT THE ACTING!!! And the acting was pretty damn great in that movie! ok

The acting is not a problem in either Spiderman, and Spiderman 2 is fantastic.

Maybe you're taking it too seriously? In the early comic books, Spidey wasn't exactly an emotion drenched wreck. The humour in Spiderman 2 was spot on (in the spirit of the comic without being too farcical), and it had a decent ending. But maybe I just have a thing for anything with Sam Raimi's name on it........

The special effects were the only thing wrong with Spiderman as far as i'm concerned.  The CGI used when he was swinging from building to building was just godawful, but as a superhero movie I think it did okay (note: just okay.  It's no Batman Begins).  I'd probably have hated it if I read the comics but, luckily for all of us, I never did.

I wached Finding Neverland last night and was suprised at just how much I liked it.  Such a nice film.  Aww.

Nice? Bollocks to nice. It was hands down one of the best films that were made in 2004! Probably second only to House of Flying Daggers. I mean, Kate Winslet is in it, so it's not like it can possibly be awful anyway.

Hostel - Not that bad IMHO. The violence in the movie was over hyped though.
