Brokeback Mountain

Thought the movie would leave me feeling sick, but nothing of that sort happened (thank goodness  Roll Eyes). Great story and direction. 8/10

Duck Season (Temporada de patos).  A spanish-language film.

Good story.  Very mellow. It reminded me of Broken Flowers but the story is about being young instead of being old.

I'm watching Amadeus on DVD at the moment. Its amaaazing!! No wonder it won 8 Oscars all those years ago!! ok

Watch Immortal Beloved next.  I think you'll like it.

Terrence Malick's The New World.

One of the most beautiful films ever to grace the silver screen.

I didn't want to start a new thread for this, but here's a 30 second re-enactment of Brokeback Mountain.

I watched Old School last night. Yeah, it's really funny, but the plot is just so weak it isn't true. It isn't even made into something that you really care about at all, until maybe like the last fifteen minutes. That's why Dodgeball is so superior! Will Ferrel saved the film, and Vince Vaughn was pure quality as always. I also watched Clerks. Well, it rules. But we all knew that!

The Ring Two - Ok, but nowhere near as good as the first. This sequel was pretty much a letdown.

Open Water - I thought this was a pretty good film. Makes you think twice about going scuba diving though. Undecided

'V for Vendetta'

Thought it was excellent- im not going to bother posting in the thread about it since it'll probably get locked. It's obviously a politicaly-polarizing movie and you'll love or hate it based on your beliefs. i found it to be an amazing indictment of any society run by fear and hate and how the two can indavernently lead you down some very bad paths. also, natalie portman rocks!

Stay Alive

It was pretty good.  I don't see that many horror movies.  So when I actually do see one . . . I'm always terrified   nervous

I finally watched Red Eye.  I didn't really like it.  It was boring.  That kind of movie needs to be suspenseful, and it wasn't.
