Totally. I'm getting so choked up by it! Its by far one of the best movies I've seen this year. As good as Walk The Line was, Crash does beat it.

Well, it only got three, that's no Return of the King...
But still, I will see it. I said before that it's taken me far too long to watch last years winner, but the trailer for Crash has me much more interested.
I still need to watch Million Dollar Baby.
But, please, take it from an Angeleno, dont take Crash to heart. It gives the feeling that we live everyday as if it were the days of the Rodney King riots (or the Watts riots for the older generation).
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said the movie would inspire LA residents to have open, honest discussions about race. I havent yet witnessed this spectacle myself mostly because the movie is so over-the-top, I think.
I cant wait to see 'V'.

40 Year-Old Virgin...a couple of very funny moments, but overall not very good. I still love the guy in The Office though...and I just found out today that was Screech from Saved by the Bell! Holy crap! Funny stuff.
Dustin Diamond (The guy who played Screech) was in The Office and The 40 Year Old Virgin?? I thought that was Steve Carell??
It is Steve Carell. Dustin Diamond isn't in either one, as far as I know.

No, no, no, the main character in The Office AND 40year-old Virgin is Steve Carroll...very funny guy. But in 40 year-old virgin, the guy Andy, the heavier dude with the goatee is freakin Screech from Saved by the Bell! I couldn't believe it either, but it's true.

Not according to IMDB.com. They are usually pretty accurate. But at the moment I can't picture the guy you are talking about.
Wait, are you talking about Paul Rudd, who played David?

so what about V for Vendetta ? lame again ?
does every superhero has to do kungfu ? does every trailer has to look the same ? the music, the voice, the fact that they show the whole story .....

Am I the only person who really didn't like that movie? Maybe I'm cold hearted, but I just didn't like it. Especially the parts with the old folks.

Its not lame at all
He's not a superhero
He doesnt do kung-foo.
The trailer doesnt show the entire movie.
overall its a pretty solid film, drenched in shakespearean themes, sometimes overly dramatic, however fully justified as the mask is the symbol for drama afterall, some scenes I found slightly boring (was drunk),
Conservatice bellends and most americans will hate this film though.
id give it a 7/10

I saw Steamboy last night.? It's an anime film that's been years in the making - directed by Katsuhiro Otomo (who made Akira, so I was expecting a lot).
It's lame, don't waste your time.? The animation is really stunning but the story is as weak as a Diet Coke from the pub with ice.? There's such a forced anti-war message which really isn't necessary - i'm already against war and I don't wanna be lectured when watching a film.? It's also too long.
So, if you're an anime fan watch it for the animation.? Everyone else stay away.

Speaking of anime... I watched Ghost In The Shell a few weeks ago... I shouldn't have watched it when I did, seeing as I had pulled an all-nighter, and my concentration wasn't up to standard... but I just found it really confusing and made me feel a bit sick actually...
Maybe I'll watch it again when I haven't stayed awake all night.

I got up today, fucked about, and then got back into bed to watch For A Few Dollars More.
Always worth it.
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly > For A Few Dollars More > A Fistfull of Dollars.
Like a true trilogy! and they're all great.

Watched Wolf Creek on DVD last night... my GOD that movie rocked!!
There's this one bit... the bad guy has one of the girls, and she's just tried to escape. She pulls out a penknife on him, and he yanks out this giant hunting knife, says "Like your friend said earlier... That's not a knife... THIS is a knife!" and he swipes it, and it cuts her fingers clean off!!!
Then, he yanks her up, and says "This is what they used to do in Vietnam when they had a prisoner who kept runnin' away..." and he sticks the knife in her back and severs her spine! Then he says "You can't move, but you can lie there and still give me all the information I need... plus I might have a li'l fun... ya know!"
Creepy as fuck.
And it's based on a true story!! Eeep!
Now I definately am not ever going backpacking in Australia!

Red Eye, don't have that much to say about it.
I thought it was a great movie, pretty scary at some places, but that's just good.
So if you like a good thriller, check that out.
