Aye, when I saw it at the cinema I was dissapointed. But, when I watched it on DVD, hell, it delivers what it promised. And the songs are hillarious!
Especially this one:
I miss you more than Michael Bay missed the mark,
When he made Pearl Harbor.
I miss you more then that movie missed the point,
And that?s an awful lot girl.
And now, now you've gone away,
And all I'm trying to say,
Is Perl Harbor sucked and I miss you
I need you like Ben Affleck needs acting school,
He was terrible in that film.
I need you like Cuba Gooding needed a bigger part,
He's way better then Ben Affleck.
And now all I can think about is your smile,
And that shitty movie too,
Perl Harbor sucked and I miss you
Why does Michael Bay get to keep on making movies.
I guess Perl Harbor sucked,
Just a little bit more then I miss you.
Oh, and the Montage one too.

The Village
I loved it. I wasn't expecting to like it so much, because of previous things I'd heard about it from different people. It's a very original and thought-provoking film and beautifully done as well.

I watched King King last night. It wasn't too bad just went for way too long. Obviously I knew it was going for over 3 hours but I'd just had enough after about 2.

What did you think of Bryce Dallas Howard?

Oh Plessssssssssssssssssse! "Match Point" was not a Guy chick flick in the least. It was a very well written psychological drama which encompassed elements of Nietzsche and tried to address questions of fairness and right and wrong. It was a masterpiece.

a masterpiece !!!
clich? relationship issues : A dates B, C dates D, and A likes D and kisses in the rain and in the grass ....
all the characters are black or white. they're 100% clich?s.
" yeah, im poor, yeah, i get into the rich world, oh man !! do i keep the girl and the job ? or do i go for my love !!! "
the father is all good. the *nice* wife (sister) is nice and sweet and useless.
and then , a ridiculous twist that has no point. wasn't built in at all. the twist just landed there like a hair in the frozen yogurt.
i mean. if you wanna watch something deep and beautiful about man / woman relationship, watch
In the Mood For Love
or
Three Times
i dunno. maybe i'm just bitter. maybe i should have watched that with my girlfriend. but i thought it was very very weak.
we're not gonna talk about the *end* but come on ... wasn't it Ri-di-li-cous ?

As for the characters being clich?d, the story was plot driven, not character driven, just like Hitchcock, so it doesn't matter. And I thought the twist was fucking genius.

She was great.
I don't think she (Ivy) ever told Lucius what color he was. It was probably red, the color they weren't supposed to speak of.

Match point. Excellent film. Go see it even if you don't love Allen's films (i love them).
King kong: Very enjoyable. Maybe a bit too long.
The family stone. I also like it.
Lucky last three for me.
