Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire

Too long, badly edited, far too serious, and not for kids

But,

It wasn't too bad

Yep, Ethan Suplee.

He plays
-the Golgothan Shit Monster in Dogma
-Thumper in Butterfly Effect
- Louis Lastik in Remember the Titans
- Ed in Roadtrip

I loved his quote in Earl the other night
"Feliz Naviblah. Thats english for Christmas in Mexico"

Cry Wolf

It's got Jon Bon Jovi in it. In case anyone was wondering.

I liked it more than I thought I would. It was scary and puzzling. Some parts of it reminded me of the movie, Clue.

Journey's been wanting to rent "The Village' for awhile, so we will more than likely watch it and Ill give it another chance.

Has she seen it before?

If she hasn't tell her when you watch it? not to try and work out the twist. Unless she already knows it...

It's really not the kind of smack you in a face 'christ I didn't see that comming...' kind of thing that is challenging you to work it out...

It is much better if you just let it unfold by itself.

Or.

If Journey comes in this thread, she can read that for herself.? smoking

I haven't seen it, but everyone I know has told me how it ends. I still want to see it for myself though.

That might be better, actually.

Just sit back and watch how beautifully it is shot and acted.  Smiley

I mean, Joaquin Pheonix is in it...

...You're gauranteed quality acting!

I caught Sin City on TV this morning, and although I had seen this movie many times before, it always remains enjoyable and entertaining until the rather dismal and unfulfilling ending. Using blood, guts, and Jessica Alba Im happy for two hours and leave the coach wanting to hurt someone hihi

Have to add to the Joaquin Phoenix fan club. I've only seen him in Gladiator, Signs, The Village and Walk The Line but he was excellent in each of them. Has already achieved "Must see his movie status" for me.

Good call. I had to be forced to watch this movie the first time, but now if I dont know what I want to watch, this is one of the first I reach for. What a fucking depressing ending. Thats what makes it so good, however.

Bad writing is the reason I didn't like it. Also, Ashton Kutcher is the worst thing to ever happen to acting, this guy couldn't pull off a Troma film.

I finally managed to watch The Grudge in it's entirety without falling asleep!

Despite Sarah Michelle Gellar's days as being a total vixen on Buffy being behind her, the movie delivers some okay thrills and chills, but nothing even remotely over the top and worth the price of admission to a theatre.
