This film has had some up and down reviews. Some love it but friends of mine walked out halfway through. Can't decide if it's worth it. Cinema tickets cost ?6.10 over here.

The Island - I really enjoyed this movie, good acting and plot.

Also just watched Chronicles of Narnia - It was okay, nothing I'd watch again.

I watched The Basketball Diaries with Leonardo DiCaprio & Mark Wahlberg.

Ive seen this movie many times but it never really gets old because of the phenomenal acting and plot. The story follows the of Jim Carrol who was a could have been highschool basketball star, but unfortunately succumbed to a terrible heroin addiction and ended up on the streets for many years before her finally got arrested and sent to prison.

Hes a really great poet, although his music isnt my cup of tea..but nevertheless I recommend this movie ok

I did see Chronicles of Narnia, eventually.

One of the few complaints I have of the film, which I do feel is a very good, if not great, adaptation, is the looming sense of peril that is...Well, completly absent from the entire film, actually.

That was one of the things that turned Lord of the Rings from a good adaptation to the best trilogy of all time (in my personal opinion, of course...).

During the siege of Minas Tirith, you really did feel like the world (of men?) was comming to an end; that it really was going to be destroyed.

With The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe there just wasn't a believable feeling that the fate of the (world, eh?) was in danger.

That said, the acting was competent and Mr. and Mrs. Beaver were pretty cool, aye so it's true.

I saw the Ringer (with Johnny Knoxville) last night.

It was pretty funny, but it was sorta offensive (I mean they are making fun of retarded people and all). It wasn't one of Barry Blaustein's best, but it was still an entertaining 2 hours.
