Another day, another movie Smiley

I just watched The Incredibles on video.  It was cute.  I actually liked it, being a cartoon and all.

The Amityville Horror ,? was really fucking good.

I saw this last Saturday for my birthday with a few buddies and it was real fucking good. I havnt seen the original but have heard it would come off as pretty tame and cheesy nowadays. I really like Ryan Reynolds and only see it as a matter of time before he gets his big break in a dramatic film i hope.

National Treasure was kind of corny and had some plot holes, but I still thought it was fun.  I thought Nicholas Cage was a little disturbing though..he looks more like Elvis all the time.  Its a little distracting.

A Lot Like Love was ok.  A simple, cute romantic comedy.  Better than I expected, actually.

Alot of DVD's this week:

Ghost Ship: Not great but an o.k. waste of 90 minutes

Snatch: Great movie. Love the action. Love the humor. Near perfect.

Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels: See above with a slightly lesser cast.

went last night and watched "Crash"

awesome fucking movie

guys go watch this, I promise it wont disappoint u

it is a movie that really shows the race lines after 9/11 and it has 4 or 5 different angles but they all tie in

it is great and is an excellent overview of race in America.

it was awesome.

"Crash" is a really good fuckin movie .say it this past weekend .

Also saw ?Kingdom of Heaven ?,and it was really disappointing .The biggest problem is Orlando Bloom was not the right person to play the role that he was playing .

Malfunkshun  at the Arclight on Sunset Blvd.

This is the AFI music documentary about the band Mother Love Bone, and its predecessor Malfunkshun.

It was a sad story of course.  The singer, Andrew Wood, died from O.D.  But what amazed me most was how charismatic and fun he was, and his amazing voice.  The movie had interviews with Chris Cornell, Jeff Ament, Greg Gilmore, Kim Thayil, and many other musicians.  I just kept thinking, if it had been Andrew Wood instead of Kurt Cobain to become a star, how would things have turned out differently.

Hitchhiker's Guide: movie was fine.  I had forgotten a lot of the series, but it was still fun to watch.

The last movie I saw was "Crash".

This is a sociological piece on racial and cultural differences. It confronts the underlying racial tensions of the L. A. community. Although the characters had depth to them and the storyline was plausible, the ending was a borderline fairytale. However, it makes for a great conversation.

Thunderbirds.  We were bored so we rented it, i'm a die-hard Bill Paxton fan so i had to watch it i knew it would probably suck but i thought what the hell.  I was plesently surprised it was a not bad no-brainer, ok it was kinda crap but in a so bad it's funny kind of way.

Yeah makes u think - 'what the fuck was that?'

A film where u need to read the book to understand it - rubbish

I just got back from the Hitch-hickers guide to the galaxy

Awful, horrendous in fact. 1 dimensional characters - no progression, essential nothing more than a? weak love story. Script was dire. In all hugely boring, avoid.

If you're such a genius go make your own perfect movie that will change the way people see the cinema.  Why would you even need to quote me on my own opinion? I mean, who's mind are you trying to change? not mine, that's for damned sure!.

I finally saw Star Wars III.  I thought it was really good.  Of course, I'm not one of those people who hated the first 2 either.

I also saw Madagascar.  Its no Shrek, but it was still really cute and funny.
