YOOOOOOOOOOOOO we are back!!!!
last film i saw was "Sin City" i actually saw it twice, it is an amazing, unbelievable movie
if u havent seen it, check it out!
also i watched "The Woodsman" last night
Kevin Bacon is such an amazing underrated actor. Somehow he gets sympathy for a piece of shit child molester.
the movie is very powerful, very haunting and will make u squirm at times watching it. "especially when he asks a little girl if she wants to sit on his lap"
its chilling and very interesting however.
definitely a good movie for the open minded.

I'm a bit squirmish when it comes to that kind of thing, I probably wouldn't be able to watch it
Does anyone know this film: It's about this guy who has to try and get a satanic book to someone else or something, it starts off with the guy who originaly? owned the book commiting suicide/being killed satanically.
I think that's how it went. It was on tv and I only saw the first half hour of it. I want to rent the DVD to watch the rest but I can't remember the title. Any help please?

Der Untergang (Downfall)
What can I say - I was glued to my seat. This movie is about Hitler's last days in his bunker while Berlin is being attacked. Contrary to many reviews I have read - I did not feel sorry for Hitler at all. To me, he was portrayed as a powerful but pathetic, delusional old man with Parksinson's disease. The most disturbing figure in this film was the wife of Goebbels (Marta?) who deliberately kills her children.
I was also really moved by people's loyalty to Hitler - I did not sympathize them, but I was moved by it.
I definitely recommend this movie.

Amen. Definitely not a worthy follow-up to the first film.
I would recommend
Sin City

Sin City is one of the few I will actually go to the theater to see, looks awesome..............
Anything with Kevin Bacon is watchable, he is a great actor, damn I hate agreeing with D..........
Last movie I saw was "Sideways". A very good movie but I dont see why it is billed as a comedy. It does have some funny scenes, but Paul Giamatti's character is soooooooooooooo damn depressing.
BTW Giamatti is another actor who always is great in a movie "Private Parts" "The Negotiator" "American Splendor" he was great in all of them plus I'm sure that I missed a few.

You know...
...Not seeing the end of Ninth Gate isn't necesarily a bad thing...
Last film I saw was Gangs of New York. It's taken me a long time to see it, and in complete honesty I really didn't enjoy it.
But, I can see how it is brilliant, I think. I was expecting something a little different, and watching it in bed before I went to sleep was a really, really bad idea.
3 out of 5 stars, given my mood, but I'm certain that if I watched it again it would seem much, much better.
I think it just went over my head because by the end I was so tired.

Gangs of New York had its flaws but I did enjoy it. Daniel Day Lewis was frigging brilliant as Bill The Butcher and in my opinion he was absolutely robbed of an Oscar, not that an award from people who are extremely out of touch with reality means much.
Liam Neeson also was great but unfortunately due to the nature of his part wasnt in the movie too long. Probably the biggest fault was casting two actors (DiCaprio and Diaz) in critical roles who just didnt bring much to the table. Oh well still a good watch though

Hey Ninth Gate kicks ass but i have a johnny depp bias
The Woodsman was great, it isnt for the squirmish but its man's battle against personal demons *his are disturbing more than others but still its great*
Kujo go see Sin City, it will be the 2nd time we agree on something. its amazing
tonight i went and watched "Guess Who" pretty funny and had some cool serious racial commentary that goes over well
Ashton Kutcher and Bernie Mac do an excellent job and u really feel the awkwardness when Kutcher is telling black jokes at the dinner table.
If u like that sorta movie, its pretty good, nice little romantic comedy.

The last video I saw was Shallow Hal.
The last movie in the movie theatre I saw was Dear Frankie.
Both were quite good. I am somewhat impressed as the last few films I saw were somewhat lame ass...

Yeah. On Der Untergang, my Film Studies teacher highly recommended it.
The only problem is, the arthouse cinema nearest to me where it's being show is...Well, not that near. But, if I can, I'm going to try and see it before it's run ends in about a week.

Thanks for the heads up.
You're right about Michael Bay. Virtually anything that guy touches turns to crap.

im definitely gonna have to check out hotel rwanda!
I went and watched Fever Pitch tonight *now im in the doghouse cause i promised my girl id wait and watch it with her*? Sorry baby
it was a great romantic comedy and reminded me of me in so many ways
my woman gets pissed cause ill plan our shit sometimes around my beloved Dallas Mavericks basketball games.
when the NCAA tourney was on, i drove her crazy
now the NBA playoffs are getting ready to start, very similiar i was to jimmy fallon's character
nice movie though, if u like that sort of romantic comedy type flick with a little sports, check it out!
im gonna watch "the ammytiville Horror" remake anyway
scary movies are so subjective sometimes, like some hated the movie "Saw" but i loved it.
