I also saw Meet the Fockers.  I agree it was funnier than the first one.  My only complaint is that Owen Wilson wasn't in it more.  It wouldn't have mattered except that I heard he was in it so I was looking forward to his part.  Other than that, great movie.

Recently, I watched all three Lord of the Rings extended editions.

Wow.

I think that I am prepared to say that it is the greatest trilogy ever. Yes. Better than (the original) Star Wars. Better than...Anything. The ride of the Rohirim made me want to cry. But that's just because I'm cool.

And Aragorns speech outside the black gates is the epitomy of greatness in film.

"I see in your eyes, the same fear, that would take the heart of me."

Argh, I want to watch it again.

I'm going to watch The Untouchables now, I got it the other day. Brilliant!

Ok I finally watched Love Actually from start to finish.  And now I agree with you, D.  It is a very good movie.  The part at the end with the kid really got to me, and I didn't even like that kid at first.

I'm about half way through the extended version of Return of the King.  And it is as amazing as I expected it to be.  I can't understand anyone not loving the Lord of Rings movies.

cool peace

my girlfriend actually made me watch it, but im glad i did cause i enjoyed it!

i just got finished watching "collateral"

i saw it at the movies when it came out, just got through watching it again on dvd and i love this movie

i love the evolution of the characters

u can tell that when the movie ended Jamie Foxx is gonna get off his ass and start really making his dreams come true.

also tom cruise played an excellent bad guy, because he was bad but still had some redeeming qualities about him that made u like the guy even though he was bad.

That movie was the worst thing to happen to cinema ever!!! I'll never get back the 1 1/2 I wasted watching that garbage.

I saw this yesterday with a mate of mine. I saw some reviews in the newspaper being very critical of it but i fuckin loved it. I'd put both the orginal and the new one in the same league.

I love Jack's information machine under the bed in the R.V rofl whoever thought of that is a genius.

Anyone seen Life Aquatic yet?  I'm debating if I should see that or the Aviator next.  Or I might just sneak out of work next week by myself and see Finding Neverland.  So many choices!

The Santa Clause, a new holiday classic AND MUCH MUCH better than the sequel. For once, Tim Allen and Judge Reinhold are freaking awesome. Although Judge Reinhold was good in Fast times in Ridgemont High.

I saw House of Flying Daggers yesterday...pretty cool movie.  A little slow for my blood but it told an unoriginal story fairly well and the entire look and feel of the movie was absolutely beautiful.

Tigerland.

In my opinion, this is definitely one of Colin Farrell's better movies.  yes

sky captain - beautiful but crappy movie (someone gotta kill jude law and Gwyneth Paltrow   .)

meet the fockers - funny, i guess.

la confidential - i thought i've never seen it, but then, in the middle of it i realized that i had. really not that good. love the era and time (even thought about a video game concept during the movie) but the movie is just ... i dunno...time confusing, they wanna do too much... more style (in the directing cf. goodfellas) would have been good. but cool dresses, shoes and cars Smiley

Judge Reinhold is class and very underated he was wonderful in all 3 Beverly Hill's Cop Movies....'Billy's gone and done something dumb again'.  Last film i saw was River Wild last night.  As action/thrillers go it was generally medicore what brought it above the rest was Kevin Bacon's performance.  He is always a class act in whatever movie, from Footloose to Tremors to Stir of Echoes, in River Wild in plays the nice guy who turns out to be a psycho great he makes all movies very watchable, always makes you root for him as the bad guy and i am always pissed off when he gets killed in the end.
