Whoa, I never thought the thread would get this big!?
Anyway, the last film I saw was Forrest Gump,?
What can I say? I mean it's only my favorite movie of all time and I've been quoting Bubba's lines about shrimp like all week in school .

Fahrenheit 9/11 - Boring and uninspiring, Michael Moore is nothing more than a character assassin bent on satisfying his own selfish agenda. Not that I'm saying Bush isn't an idiot. F+ for being absolutely one sided.

Saw some films recently..
The Terminal with Tom Hanks.. awful awful awful
Dodgeball... funny enough
The Village... very disappointing
Wimbledon.. very average 'comedy'
Collateral with Tom Cruise.. probably the better of all listed above.. nothing more than a B+ tho.

The Nutty Professor.
The Jerry Lewis movie. He's a great actor, Jim Carrey owes him alot. Gotta get some of his old movies with Dean Martin.

I watched Rushmore again last night on MTV, and that film fucking owns. Has anybody seen either of Wes Andersons other movies? They're both fucking great as well. He's a really cool director, and The Royal Tenenbaums is just...If you haven't seen it...See it!!! (That is the most exclamation marks I will ever use because I refuse to use more than two, so you can be sure that I mean business)

I've seen Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, and Royal Tennenbaums. I loved Bottle Rocket and Royal Tennenbaums, but I didn't like Rushmore. Its been too long since I've seen it though, and I can barely remember it. I was thinking I should go watch it again and give it another chance. Wes Anderson/Owen Wilson stuff is a little "off" and I think you almost have to know what to expect when you first watch it. The humor tends to be really subtle. Plus you have to think that incredibly screwed up people are funny. And I do. I'm looking forward to seeing the Life Aquatic when it comes out.

Life Aquatic, definatly bro.
Did you hear about Fantastic Mr. Fox...
...I read about it on empireonline yesterday...
...I don't know what to expect.
But, yeah, Rushmore is without doubt the weakest of the three, with Royal Ten.. unquestionably being the best film he has done. It is pure genious. The quote about the dead mother (I don't want to ruin it for anybody who hasn't see it) is priceless.
And KJ....I used three on purpose, that was my point.
You're the douche.

Doh!
I'm surprised you thought Rushmore was the weakest of the three. I love that movie, Bill Murray is great. I actually wasn't a big fan of The Royal Tenenbaums.

Saw? Really? I mean, i thought it looked promising during the previews but it got canned by the critics. What is it comparable to?
