Spectre - very good film, maybe the best one with Daniel Craig as Bond.

I thought the new Star Wars was a bit of a mixed bag. While it doesn't reach the heights of the OT, it certainly tops the PT in almost every way. Nonetheless, I'd take Darth Maul over Kylo Ren any day.

My only real gripe. I wasn't a fan of the casting for Kylo Ren. Thought he was weak.

The girl hit a grand slam.

Returning after a 7 year hiatus to say that the last movie I saw was A Christmas Story...over and over and over (on the goading of my fianc?). Commencing my yearly hatred of the movie due to TBS's excessive marathon.

I started watching Bond, enjoyed the first scene in Mexico, then it meandered too much the next half an hour, and I switched it off. I'll watch it another day

Star Wars - The Force Awakens - I finally saw it today and enjoyed it. I can see the similarities with the first film, but it was fine. I like the small robot, he was a good addition and added some comedy. I thought having the old characters in it elevated it as well. Of the new characters, I liked Fin the most. Added some energy into the movie. The English actress was ok, but not great. Overall, I would give it 7.5/10
