House of Cards (season 3 Netflix)

There are 13 episodes in season 3, all running about 55mins.  It took me about 3 nights to watch them all.  I don't wNt to give any spoilers      All in all in was another strong season   Kevin spacey is great in his role again.   Not as strong as the first two seasons, but if you watched them you will def like this one.

There was a rumour this may be the last season, but I really hope it continues.   Anyone that may be a fan of American polo goal dramas should check this out

8/10

I would put season 1 and 2 at 9/10

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift

How is this one? It's the only film in the series I've yet to see.

Really good. Lucas Black is doing a great job (he returns for Furious 7, 8 and 9) and this is actually the first movie with Sung Kang as Han. Vin Diesel has a cameo.

Just saw The Maze Runner.

Quite good, but felt than too many question was left unanswered in the end. I realize that this is based on a book series and there are sequels coming up, but still.

I watched it with my two younger kids..  And even though there were a few scary parts for a 6 year old, he loved it.  Daughter is 10 and really liked it.

Myself, It kept me awake..  Sorta a lord of the flys feel to it.   I would recommend the movie as well and I will watch the sequals

FoxCatcher

This movie is based off a true story..

Its a really interesting story, especially if you read up on the true events after...

No Spoilers,

But the only gayer thing than this movie......   Was the fact that I watched the whole thing alone.   lol

Its very awkward at times...   But a good story and well acted

American Sniper - Kinda' cold and sterile like a lot of Eastwood films but still very well done. Bradley Cooper continues to impress.

The Imitation Game---

Well I do love movies that are in the running for academy awards.  This movie is one of them

Back drop is durring World War Two and its a story that's really never been told.  I love ww2 movies in general.  Especially ones that are not about the United states.  England is the star of this movie, with some great actors telling a great true story.

It touches on some of England's harsh laws of the time as well.

Very good movie that tells a good story  8.5/10

Amira & Sam

A sweet little rom-com involving a returning veteran and an Iraqi immigrant. It wasn't anything that defines the genre but I enjoyed it.

Behind here, not seen too many

Avengers: Age of Ultron : It is an ok film because we know the characters and they are good characters. The story on this one though is weaker than the first Avengers film.

Mad Max:Fury Road : I got invited to a preview for this. It is quite surreal, lots of action, not too much talking. I thought it was great, the gf hated it though. A good one to see drunk, the 3D enhances the movie, slightly

Kingsman : I saw this a couple of months back. It is very good, it is like an adult kids film, very wierd. It is a violent, London east end, James Bond, Hunger Games mix. Very enjoyable. Looking forward to the sequel
