Mysteron, The Tree of Life I liked-long movie, you will either love it or hate it-most unusual film I've seen in a long time-a spiritual movie (I was not expecting that)-I read stories of people demanding refunds, the theater I was in a few people applauded.

Due Date

What a piece of crap disappointment... Not only was this movie boring, but it was annoying.. Zach Galanakasadlghkdfjious,  is apparently  a one dimensional actor, playing the same guy over and over... Too bad cause I liked him in the beginning

One dimensional actors have always existed.

I thought this film was fun and watchable.

Crazy Stupid Love - Saw this. Shakesperian in approach, seperate stories meeting up in a central comical act, then an outcome. To be fair, it is a ladies film but it is really good. The perfomances are fine, and I like the whole bitter sweet fizz to the movie. It's worth a watch

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy - It's Oscar season, and is this contender any good? It is acted well, and it spanks of 70's English detective films. This is not a film to watch if you are in your teens, it will come across as dull and outdated. For older folk, it is ok, but it's not oscar worthy. The film is probably slightly more complicated than the book.

Breaking Dawn Part 1. Loved it. It made me laugh and cry and I love the soundtrack.Michael Sheen manages to steal the show in the closing scenes.  I wish they could ramp it up to TRUEBLOOD levels on the honeymoon scenes, hihi They show alot more action on Vampire Diaries and it is the same core audience. Well worth the wait for us diehard Twihards. beer

Hugo... probably my favourite movie of the year. It's a gorgeous and heartwarming love letter to the early days of cinema from Martin Scorsese, and it's amazing.

I could not get attached to this film.

It was a great story, but it felt sequenced and some of the acting was wooden.

I thought Hugo was a beautifully shot film, but the story just went nowhere

Watched The Decendants the other day. Didn't think it was anything special. Thought Clooney has done better acting jobs than this film(i liked him in Syriana And Ides Of March better). It was entertaining, I was just expecting more. The hype got to me i guess.

There's a part where he just takes off running from his house after getting some news of something somebody did (if you've seen it than you should know what i'm talking about) and i thought that was hilarious. The way he runs and the way they film the run was really funny to me. But just an above average film overall. smoking

Most Recent;

Hunger Games - I was not aware of the books prior to viewing. I enjoyed the film alot, well acted, and I look forward to the sequel

The Pirates : in an adventure with Scientists - Aardman animation, it was fun to watch, but the humour felt a little forced and silly

The Cold Light of Day - I was not expecting too much from this, but it was an enjoyable film. You can leave your brain at home wrt to the story thoough, and Sigourmey Weaver was not at her best here, probably miscast.

Wrath of the Titans - Awful sequel really. The original was ok, but this felt wooden and too sequenced, partly because of the cast, particularly the lesser known actors/actresses. It is watchable tho, the 3D was awful though apart from the flickering flames
