True Romance - A truly solid cat and mouse action movie written by Tarantino with a solid cast including Brad Pitt, Christian Slater, James Gandolfini, etc. where a couple try to elude crooked cops and the mob with a bag of stolen contraband. Election - Matthew Broderick plays a highschool teacher who wants to put a bossy/self-absorbed student in her place by rigging the highschool student elections so she loses class president - Very funny and well-writen; Ferris is looking old though. The River Wild - A solid popcorn movie where Kevin Bacon and John C. Rielly play two robbers who force a family of white water rafters to guide them downstream. Kevin Bacon may have a few duds under his belt, but he's definately one of my favorite actors, and it's really cool to see him play a villian every once and a while because he's almost always stuck with the role of a good guy - Meryl Streep is actually kinda' hot in this one too

i ended up watching Grown Ups or that shit because Warner Bros and the two biggest chains of theaters here in Mexico got into a fight about royalties about Inception. so now am must wait to the 30 of July for them to show the movie.  |
