after finishing the game fallout 3 I did some searches for a movie and found the book of eli. and watched it.
it was a great movie in the same kinda setting although not an official movie, but close to the game.

Hamburger Hill.

A basic movie about Vietnam War but nothing compared to Full Metal Jacket, Apocalypse Now or Platoon.

WHAT ANNIE?the world is ending, didnt u see New Moon like 230 times?

I thought Eclipse was awesome and did a great job setting up the final films

every series has to have that one transitional movie that sets the table for the sequels.

Like Pirates 2 kinda sucked but set the deck for part 3.
I saw TWILIGHT 13 times. I only saw New Moon 4 times. I don't know, I feel like when I had my Twilight obsession that I was under the influence of some sort of drug. Then somebody gave me the antidote. and that antidote is Trublood. hihi
I liked the wolves and the scenery. Rob and Kristin are just going through the motions to collect their paychecks. They are so not into it . Taylour Lautner is amazing, he really makes a diehard Edward fan want to go team Jacob. My TWIHARD friends are as shocked as you. hihi So is my Mom. I'm just over it. I do love the soundtrack music. beer

it cant be! you the vamipre lover? so obsesed with Edward!.

i saw it too and i have to say that i also didnt like it that much, i liked the other two. but with this i was bored, it was the same old thing!, just get over it, 1 hour and 30 minutes of stupid love scenes and 15 minutes of fight that was cool. and now they will make the final book into 2 movies, fuck its going to get really boring.

I totally agree. They should have kept Catherine Hardwick as the director. The books will always have a special place in my heart, but I am so over the movies. There are not alot of movies that I'm too excited about this summer. no

I thought the new film lacked momentum. There were too many slow moments and not enough action. I agree with your director comments.

The Book of Eli was pretty good, thought it would be more epic. The guy who wrote the script, Gary Whitta, used to work as an editor for the PC Gamer magazine..  Wink

Last film I've saw was Solomon Kane, shame for the publishing troubles the film has, one of the better movies I've seen lately.

Yes, I enjoy serious Adam Sandler movies too. Punch-Drunk Love in particular is amazing, although rather depressing.

The Hurt Locker.

It was good, but I don't see why it's supposed to be SO GOOD.

Open Water - awful - total waste of time.
The Road - very dark, but well directed I thought (same guy who did The Proposition).  Didnt go for the ending (wont spoil it here) but it wrapped itself up in a way I wasnt happy with compared to the rest of the film. Viggo is good, as ever though.

When You're Strange

Really good documentary about The Doors. Lots of cool live footage and Johnny Depp sounded good as the narrator. I'm now in a Doors mood. Grin Must buy The Soft Parade and LA Woman....

Snabba Cash (2010)

Swedish gangsterish movie, one of the few swedish movies where this "theme" actually worked, i think there's an american version in the making. 7.3

Slumdog Millionaire (2008)

You've all seen it, if you haven't - then you should. great but the wrestler should've probably won the oscars. now where's my latika Tongue
