Up In The Air - 8 / 10

It's a good movie, but Oscar material? Don't know why it was nominated.

Did not see it in theater but from Comcast.
Its not widely known outside of Asia but tells a great story of events that happened back in China a long time ago.

Its more baised on the same side the writer of Romance of the Three Kingdoms had. But less cruel to some people in it.

Red Cliff

You got to see it!!!

Nightmare On Elm Street.........ugh where to begin.  If I had to rate this I would give it 1 out of 4 stars.

It's a start to the franchise..a re-imagining.  Hence perhaps maybe Freddy could have been given a better buildup like in the original.  In the original you only saw quick glimpses until later in the movie when it was time for him to reveal himself.  This movie Freddy is boom bam always there right away!

The guy playing Freddy sucks at this.  His voice is stupid, the makeup is stupid and his lines are stupid.

Why is it that these new horror remakes put the roles of kids who can just immediately figure out the story and how to kill the bad guy?

Lastly the CGI was complete and utter shit.  The original had some of the best special effects and makeup ever!

So it's true you can't compare the two as one is a classic and the other is a steaming turd!

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

New moon.  Better than the first film but still a chick flick in my opinion.

Iron Man 2. Enjoyed it, even though I've never seen the first one and had to read up on it the day before. Tongue

Kick-Ass

I didn't think it quite lived up to all the hype I've heard, but it was still a good film. "Fuck this shit. I'm getting the bazooka." Best. Line. Ever. rofl

OCEANS. A visually stunning film. I wish that I could see a blue whale in real life.
