The Book Of Eli.. awesome movie from beginning to end. One of those movies that from the first seconds you know it's gonna be a treat for the rest of the movie.

CheapJon, I think you mean twilight?
nope, Lady Ashba expressed herself in a way that it sounded like the hurt locker was a vampire movie and that confused me ok

watched michael jackson's this is it last night, woulda been one helluva show.. the "film" wasn't that great though, skipped most of the songs at least parts of them and watched the talking and shit, where you really saw how MJ worked

Saw a preview screening of Kick-Ass over the weekend. Fucking awesome movie. Haven't thoroughly enjoyed a movie so much in years. It's hilarious, fun, exciting, and controversial all in one package. Everyone should go see it when it goes on general release.

Just watched the last kiss (with Zach Braff and others) and I liked it. Especially the whole porch "you can't fail if you don't give up" shot thingy Smiley

Oh and I liked this shot as well, it's just funny Wink

I'm glad you liked it. I didn't see the Bounty Hunter because Jennifer Aniston annoys me so much, and I just couldn't bear to see her with Gerard Butler.

I saw Secret of the Kells today at the Gene Siskel film center. This movie is a gem! See it if you can!

The Unborn - terrible

Why would Gary Oldman choose a movie like this?

The fourth kind - kinda liked it (as long as you ignore the whole "based on true stories" thing)
It's a documentary/movie about alien abductions  Grin

Yesterday I went to see Shutter Island with my girlfriend.

Great movie, really enjoyed it! Old school Scorsese at his best in my fn' opinion. Something of the best shit I have seen so far this year. I was like so distressed and tense during all the movie because of the atmosphere the plot (and the music!) creates.

Oh yeah, that creepy, sparse piano music that plays during some of his dreams is very effective. I don't actually notice music in films a lot of the time, but I did in this film.
