The Yellow Hankerchief and Remember Me. Both were very good films that made me cry.
we cant trust you about Remember Me, you just love that crazy vampire.

Spoiler alert. It was not what I expected at all. All the people in the movie were very emotionally damaged. It was in no way a romance, but a tragedy. TWILIGHT fans will not like it. I kind of feel bad for Robert Pattinson, he is so much more than just Edward. That being said, I loved seeing trailers for Iron Man 2 with Mickey Rourke and Eclipse back to back.

Fucking terrible movie.... looked away more during this than all of the "Saw" movies combined.
Just curious D, what made you want to see that movie in the first place?
i try to see as many oscar nominated movies as possible.

GILDA. A truly awful movie, but Rita Hayworth was so beautiful. They don't make movie stars like that anymore.

Brooklyn's Finest.
Great cast (Don Cheadle, Richard Gere, Ethan Hawke, Wesely Snipes were all great in it.) The story was not really anything new. Still entertaining though. 7.5/10

I saw 'Shutter Island', 'Wolfman' and 'The Green Zone' this weekend. Wolfman I found boring, Shutter Island good and The Green Zone awesome

The last film I saw was ' The Wrestler ' while on my Air Canada flight coming back from Toronto to London from seeing GN'R. I'm not one for watching alot of films but I love watching things that I'm genuinely interested in and ' The Wrestler ' was brilliant.

I love that movie. Mickey Rourke SHOULD have won the Oscar!

I'm done with vampire movies for now, my last one was The Hurt Locker and Valentine's Day (this one was very crappy in my opinion!)

No, The Hurt Locker isn't about vampires. It's about guys disarming bombs in Iraq.

Gilda
is a pretty good movie, definitely not awful...
I saw the remake of
Brothers
-- was decent but the original was much better.
Also saw
Mrs. Miniver
-- very good movie, though not one of Wyler's best...
Breaking Upwards
I saw, which is a very small New York indie film that I can recommend-- I met the stars and directors and got a private screening. It's opening in New York on April 1st (I think) at the IFC center, so if anyone has a chance and lives in NY, you should go.

THE RUNAWAYS. Kristin Stewart was brilliant as Joan Jett. The movie was a little slow, but very insightful Before Madonna and GNR there were the Runaways.
