Finally saw the Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus. It was weird but good. It's such a shame that Heath Ledger is gone. It's really cool the way that Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farell stepped up to complete the film.

It was weird! I thought it was a slow starter, but I look back on it as a good film.

Miracle at St. Anna,  Shocked fantastic movie, I loved it!

It got alot of bad reviews and it is close to three hours long, so I decided to miss it.

I agree. I think it was a great movie-- basically the same has-been in the downs who has another chance (a la The Wrestler) but still I enjoyed it a lot, and Bridges is fantastic.

Just saw

A Man Escaped by Robert Bresson-- real good stuff

Surrogates w/ Bruce Willis -- mediocre

Adam -- decent, but nothing dazzling

Crazy Heart was amazing also reminded me a bit of "The Wrestler"

Up In the Air  outstanding movie... I'd say its between these two for the Oscar and I'd hate to have to choose.

Odd accent though for the main character, he sounded Irish/Scottish at times.

I do believe that is African.

I have heard the S. African accent many times and it is v. similar. I still found the main character's accent strange though. He was a very good actor though

I thought it was maybe a New Zealand accent.   He reminded me of the manager, Murry, from Flight of The Concords.

I don't think Crazy Heart is actually nominated for Best Picture.

Everyone thinks either Avatar or Hurt Locker will win. My vote would go to Inglorious Basterds, but I know it won't win. Haven't seen Up in the Air yet, though.

Shaun of the Dead!!!

Brilliant movie!

 ok peace

Cabin Fever 2

This movie was doomed from the beginning... If done right it could have been great, to bad Ti West got dicked around so much....

All in all it was ok but it just seemed like it was 2 movies cut into one

2 out of 5 (4.5 of 5 for the original)

i also saw it, and i understand that they went the way of old horror movies, but i was dissapointed, the wolfman looked cheap in my opinion it looks like they wanted to use more make up than CG and thats ok, but its not that cool lokking. i also expected more of the action scenes

I agree with you on the way they looked, I expected it to be better.
