We went to see it last night, and I agree. Absolutely hilarious! I thought it was gonna be "stupid funny", which was fine, but it turned out to be really just outrageously hysterical. Loved it.

I laughed my ass off during that movie. Probably one of the funniest movies I've seen in quite awhile. I especially loved Zach Galifanakis (Fat Jesus) in that movie.

Drag Me To Hell
: I'm baffled that so many people actually like this movie. I hated it with a passion. I prefer my horror serious, not silly and campy and stupid.

watched these recently,
Burn After Reading - very funny IMO
The Orphanage - great ghost story, recommend highly
Southern Comfort - old 80's movie kinda in the same vain as Delieverance except nobody squeals like a pig
Driven to Kill - Steven Seagals newest. One of his better direct to dvd releases.

Is that like a Deadliest Warrior question? I'll go with Bodhi...he battled some humongous waves. Tyler Durden made soap? Wow I'm scared.
The Hangover was great - very funny!

Horror serious?
In the sense that it's actually scary. Or at least disturbing. Even if it's the same recycled plot we've seen a million times, I'd rather watch a sadistic mass murderer go around hacking people up than watch a movie like
Drag Me to Hell
which features talking goats and shadows that attack people.

The Mist - What an ending...
It's a shame people would probably react that way in real life.

ROCKY BALBOA on TV last night. A great ending to a great franchise. Rocky was so likeable in this movie! The last time I was in Philadelphia in 1992, I asked the cab driver to bring me to the library to do a ROCKY run. I had really bad bronchitis, but I made the run. When I got back to the cab, I couldn't stop coughing. The cab driver said, "PLease don't die on me!"

The new Firday the 13th. Now when you watch these movies, you have to realize going in that they are not meant to be Oscar worthy material. That being said, for a Friday the 13th, this one was really good. Jason is still and always will be a bad ass character. The movie had some great kills, and it actually seemed like the story was a bit more thought out than the previous ones.

"The Hangover" and "Up." They couldn't be more different, but both were great.

Terminator Salvation
Just came back from the theater. I don't really know what to say really, I was not overall impressed as when I watched T2, but then again Im 33 now so I guess I'm not so easily impressed anymore.
It was great though hearing YCBM again on film :-)

what did you expect? It wasn't supposed to be serious. The conception of it the whole time was that the creator of the evil dead series was back with an evil dead type of film and that's exactly what it was and I loved it.
Anyhow, Terminator Salvation was great. I heard it sucked from a number of people so went into it questioning it from the beginning and I loved it. No it is no T2, but seriously, what the hell is?
