Watched 'Sword in the Stone' with my 10-month-old this morning.  Best Disney movie ever.

I tried to rent that movie once when I was a young teen.  I turned it off when I saw faces carved in stone start to wail and cry.  Turns out I had rented a horror movie with a name somewhat like the Sword in the Stone.  It traumitized me to much, I'm not sure I'll ever try that again  rofl
Sorry for your experience, now you know that it is a Disney film you may have better luck renting versus a horror flick, that must of been so scary for you Shocked

Night at the Museum 2 - It will make you smile, but it will not make you laugh. It is a good sequel, one for all the family.

Coraline - Odd movie. Very imaginitive story and great in 3D. I would not take very young children to see this though. It is slightly macabre.

17 Again - I actually enjoyed this. It was better than I thought it was gonna be. Zac seems to be a good actor for these kind of films, and he has a great future ahead of him.

Passengers - Saw this on projected DVD. It is a slow film, but the twist at the end makes it slightly worthwhile. I can see people turning this off though before the end.

Watched the new Terminator. Better than the 3rd one. Had some pretty cool action sequences. I liked some of the camera angles used for certain sequences. Overall it was a decent flick. The action outwieghs some of the stupid dialogue and a few groan inducing moments.

Definetly worth seeing in the theatre...mainly because of the cool action and I feel big action movies are meant to be seen in the theatre. if i had to score it i would give it 3 out 5 stars.  smoking

My exact same thoughts.

I also rented Taken over the weekend, which was a very kickass movie.

I agree with Mysteron. Night at the Museum was cute but not great.

Bout to go watch Terminator

Hope I don't regret it

I hate christian Bale and think he is horrible......... So hopefully this movie will have enough awesomeness to counteract him.

D, what's your beef with Christian Bale? You just don't like him or you think he's a bad actor?

Valkyrie: I didn't really enjoy this film. I thought it was kinda boring and I just never got into it. Plus, you already know that their mission to kill Hitler isn't going to be successful (unless they rewrite history, of course), so it almost feels pointless watching it.

Doubt: I figured this movie would be really slow, but, in its own way, it's actually quite captivating. The acting in it is amazing, especially in the scenes with Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Meryl Streep. I like the film's ambiguity, too, where even in the end you have your "doubts" about what really happened. Everything kinda falls in that gray area between what's right or wrong.

Drag Me To Hell - Leave your brain at home, prepare yourself for a few jumps and lots of icky moments. The film never takes itself seriously, has lots of funny moments and is a great 80's style horror.

I don't think he is the best actor...... I never have anything personal, just some guys I don't vibe with.

for instance, I can watch Johnny Depp and Edward Norton in anything, guys like Bale and Jude Law... something about them I just don't like.

Bale did ok on dark knight and Terminator though.

No problem with that. I hate Matthew McConaughy with a passion, really just because of his pesonality. Jason Statham's another guy I can't stand.

Christian Bale's cool, though. He's been in some really good movies: Batman Begins; Dark Knight; 3:10 to Yuma; The Prestige . . . I'm really looking forward to Public Enemies this summer with him and Johnny Depp.

I like Christian Bale's movies and his acting is always solid. I'll be seeing T4 this weekend.

Statham I cannot stand. McConaughy will never win an oscar, but I do not mind him in movies.

Depp is a peculiar one. He has been a little off in a few movies, but overall, I think he has been one of the most interesting and enjoyable stars of his generation.
