Changeling.  Sad.  Not a great movie, it was okay.  My wife found it slow and she was expecting more.

Told ya.

@ Annie-I don't know yet-my 3D sonogram is next Monday.

Mr. Brooks (2007) -  Starring Kevin Costner, Marg Helgenberger, and Demi Moore. This film turned out much better then I though it would and was a good watch.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) - Starring Kristen Bell. Best part of the movie was seeing Kristen Bell and her beauty. The rest of the movie just tanked.

Milk: Good movie, very moving. Although I still wish Mickey Rourke would've won Best Actor, I can definitely understand why Sean Penn won instead. He gave an amazing performance in this movie. I kinda think the performances were better than the actual movie, though.  rofl to Sean Penn and James Franco making out.

Role Models: I liked it, but I didn't think it was as good as a lot of people have made it out to be. I didn't really laugh that much, but I still enjoyed it.

THE READER. Ralph Feinnes character adds a whole new dimension to the term EMO what a wuss. I don't know if Kate's performance really deserved the Oscar. I think Angelina Jolie was more worthy, but they won't give her another Oscar because they think she "STOLE" Brad from Jennifer Anniston.

Holocaust films are always the priority.

As for Angelina, the academy probably still hasn't forgotten her performances as "Lara Croft".

They weren't so bad. She had the balls to kill Gerry Butler's character to save the world!

Just watched Lakeview Terrace.  Samuel L. Jackson was craaaaaaazy!

It followed a predictable sequence, but it was entirely watchable

Thank you!!! Wink

Just finished "So ist Paris" and it was a real nice little film of vignettes.
I love Paris. Did you ever see Amelie?

Amelie was a great movie. Not a 'man' movie though

The movie was pretty good. Some parts of the movie felt like they were rushed at times. A directors cut of the movie will be coming out and that will be much better than the theatrical cut we got in theaters now. Zack did a good job on putting a book like Watchmen on the screen. The visual effects in the movie are beautiful. I think you would like it Annie ok
Thanks. I watched HARRY POTTER and THE GOBLET OF FIRE on Tv last night. I still don't like Harry Potter. The only good part was seeing Rob Pattinson as Cedric Diggory.

The Harry Potter movies are not as great as they should be, but one could consider them a documentary on actors evolving. It's an amazing experience.

Watchmen was 4 out of 5 for me.

It is very long, and has some unnecessary adult scenes. It is worth seeing at the cinema though.

OK, two days ago I finally sat through Twilight and I had to stop it 3 times because I just couldn't take the horrible acting.  The guy wasn't even that bad but the chick was horrible.  I just had to see it for myself though.  Her huffing and puffing and emo-ness were enough to make me roll my eyes through the whole thing but shame on me for sitting there!  I have seen better acting in those ABC After School Specials they used to play back in the 1980s.

(I am pregnant though and spend a lot of time sitting around these days and good film always seems to be scarce in the beginning of the year)

Right now I am halfway through a film called "So ist Paris" and it is wonderful so far.  I am really enjoying it.  Just seeing all the sights in Paris that I haven't seen in 7 or 8 years is nice and the film is really enjoyable as well.  Love Juliette Binoche.

Twilight is for kids really. The first half of the film was a little strained, but it stretched out into a watchable movie, and franchise.

I'll go and see the next chapter.
