Saw Body of Lies last night... very good movie.  We couldn't decide between about three movies on pay-per-view, so we opted for the one with the GnR song at the end.  While the movie was great, that was the best part!

If the World was the best part? There's one I won't be seeing.

Watched Tropic Thunder again this weekend. About the 4th time I've seen it and still great.

It was the best part for me.  The movie really was very good.  Saw Tropic Thunder a while ago, and I thought I'd hate it, but it was so ridiculous, I couldn't help but laugh!

I see. I thought Body of Lies looked pretty good, plus I'm not big on If the World.

You should have seen the cover they wanted to do. It wasn't a glove, believe me.

The Family Stone...this was a made-for-tv movie.  Horribly predictable.  Big names, and that's about it.  Ugh.

Happy wife, happy life my friend!  Seriously, I can't win with movies.  I get the critically acclaimed movies and more often than not they disappoint...the next movie we'll try is Changeling with Angelina Jolie.  That's this Friday.   ok

The movie was pretty good. Some parts of the movie felt like they were rushed at times. A directors cut of the movie will be coming out and that will be much better than the theatrical cut we got in theaters now. Zack did a good job on putting a book like Watchmen on the screen. The visual effects in the movie are beautiful. I think you would like it Annie ok

Thanks. I watched HARRY POTTER and THE GOBLET OF FIRE on Tv last night. I still don't like Harry Potter. The only good part was seeing Rob Pattinson as Cedric Diggory.

OK, two days ago I finally sat through Twilight and I had to stop it 3 times because I just couldn't take the horrible acting.  The guy wasn't even that bad but the chick was horrible.  I just had to see it for myself though.  Her huffing and puffing and emo-ness were enough to make me roll my eyes through the whole thing but shame on me for sitting there!  I have seen better acting in those ABC After School Specials they used to play back in the 1980s.

(I am pregnant though and spend a lot of time sitting around these days and good film always seems to be scarce in the beginning of the year)

Right now I am halfway through a film called "So ist Paris" and it is wonderful so far.  I am really enjoying it.  Just seeing all the sights in Paris that I haven't seen in 7 or 8 years is nice and the film is really enjoyable as well.  Love Juliette Binoche.

Congrats on the baby! TWILIGHT is all about Edward! My other favorite character is Alice, the shopaholic vampire!

Yes, I own that one.  I used to watch a lot of French film to help me learn the language years ago when I was engaged to someone who lived there and I spent a lot of time there.  I can't really speak a lick anymore but I can read it fairly well.

Changeling.  Sad.  Not a great movie, it was okay.  My wife found it slow and she was expecting more.
