Gran Torino--I liked it. Funny, but with an ending you don't really expect.
Taken--Loved it!!

body of lies on dvd--was pleasantly surprised to hear "if the world" at the end (Ok, I realize I probably am the last gnr fan to know about this).
Good movie.

Stepbrothers and I loved it
Saw that also. What was great was that it was teenagers who happened to be about 40. F-bombs and sex in the dining room. I liked it, and as an added bonus, it had the wierdest version of Sweet Child O' Mine ever.

Midnight Meat Train
(or, The New Nickname for My Penis): I almost turned it off after the 40 minutes or so, it was so bad. I decided to stick with it, though. It got a little better near the end as it got weirder and became more than just a psychopath-killer movie, but the movie still kinda sucked. No suspense, no scares.
Sex Drive
: Hilarious movie. Much better than I thought it'd be. If you like teen sex comedies, you'll like this.

Saw Body of Lies last night... very good movie. We couldn't decide between about three movies on pay-per-view, so we opted for the one with the GnR song at the end. While the movie was great, that was the best part!

If the World was the best part? There's one I won't be seeing.
Watched
Tropic Thunder

U know, I don't know if I was sleepy or just in a mood that day, but I didn't like Tropic Thunder at all.

It's pretty ridiculous humor right from the get-go so you do have to be in the right mood for it.

After a long long time I finally made some time to watch 2 movies in February:
Slumdog: good but not great. They tried to make it a little bit too emotional...
Wrestler: again good but not great. But that is only cause I have the highest expectations when it comes to Aronofsky's movies...
This year has been somewhat dissapointing with regards to movies.
Especially after last year, with all time classics like "No country for old men" and "Hunger for Blood", which were absolute masterpieces.

Also watched burn after reading on an airplane. What a disappointment
easily the worst movie the Brothers have made (after of course that terrible flick with Clooney and Zeta Jones).
I think the Cohens simply can't make good comedies anymore (and believe me, I am a really big fan of the Cohen Brothers)
