CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC. It was cute, funny, touching and very insightful. Yes, I am a semi-recovered shopaholic!

Once you have the disease, you can never be completely cured.

I took the first step when I chopped up all my credit cards.

I don't know what's next for me.  I take things one day at a time.

Friday the 13th

I'm a huge F13th fan and I thought this was pretty good...

I think this was the last franchise that needed a "remake", 10 years ago I could not have said the same, but it got a jump start from FvJ...

It stayed true to the franchise, with out shitting on the rest of it, like 2 of the last 3 Halloweens did...

The ending fight could have been better, but the end saved it!

So true. You will really like the movie then. I laughed and I cried.

Mentally, I might not be ready to go down that road quite yet.

I saw Moscow on the Hudson.  Love that film!

That makes me happy, but I'm still too scared to see it. Although nothing can be as horrible as that awful picture of SLASH holding a hello kiity guitar. NOw THAT was truly horrifying.

Friday the 13th.  Very good. Nice reboot to the series. I would have liked a little bit more of the intro "Mrs. Voorhees" segment though. The damn credits were too distracting. But thats just nit-picking.

Max Payne   Horrible

The Changeling   Loved it and was shocked on the storyline. I went in having no idea what it was about. To find out what happened was frightening.

Body of Lies: Not as good as I thought it'd be. The best part was at the end when "If The World" started playing. It came in at the perfect time, and it actually played longer than I thought it would.

Quarantine: Another movie shot in the same style as Blair Witch and Cloverfield. I didn't think I was going to like it. It was really slow in the beginning, and the whole handheld-camera style was really getting on my nerves. However, the last 25 minutes or so were very good--- very intense and suspenseful. I was holding my breath along with the characters during the last few scenes.

Vicky Christina Barcelona: I recently watched Woody Allen's Annie Hall and Hannah and Her Sisters, both of which are amazing movies (particularly the latter), so I thought I'd give this one a shot, since I'd read it was the best movie Woody Allen had made in many years. Well, he must've been making some sucky movies lately because I didn't think this one was very good. It was boring, uninteresting; it wasn't funny; I didn't like the characters. Plus there's an annoying narrator throughout the movie telling us shit we can see on the screen ourselves. The only good thing about the movie was Penelope Cruz, but she doesn't show up until halfway through the movie--- and even then she's barely used.
