Vantage Point.
It was actually pretty good. Reminded me a lot of "24", with sort of a "Pulp Fiction"/"Momento" kinda twist to the story layout.

Hancock I thought it kicked ass for the most part. Ending was a little................... well
Mr Deeds: Very under rated Adam Sandler movie. I remember the first I Saw it i didnt really like it. Watched it on TV last night and really liked it.
We saw Hancock last weekend....and I, too, thought it was a decent movie. VERY good for the most part. Ending falls a little flat....too "M. Night" for my tastes for an action flick.
Then, the following night, my wife and I sat down to watch "Live Free or Die Hard" in HD on one of the movie channels. I saw it last summer, in the theater, and remembered it was a good time..good escapist action flick. This viewing didn't change that opinion one bit. It's total suspension of disbelief crazy action. Not a lot of CGI...just shoot em up, blow em up, beat em up popcorn fun. Even my wife enjoyed it.

"Pistol Whipped" with Steven Seagal .
This was up for an Academy award but lost out to either Forrest Gump or Schindler's List, right?...I forget the year
Funny that! The last film that I saw was Schindler's List. Quite taken by Ben Kingsley's performance this viewing.
(And would you believe it! The guy I was with starting necking, just like in the Seinfeld episode!)

Hancock...
It seemed like a movie in two parts. The first half was really good and funny. Especially when someone called him asshole(which was alot).
The second half wasn't nearly as good or funny. More like sad and dumb.
It's too bad because it was going so well.
Just saw it too, and I agree. For some odd reason the movie began taking itself seriously halfway through. Which was just fucked up.
One of the best super hero flicks out there tho(which tells more about super hero flicks than it should)
Also saw ironman. Was pretty shitty.
Happening too. That was even shittier.
and Daredevil.Boy what a shitfest that was.
Hmm been watching too much of this superhero shit lately:o

That comment makes your movie opinions pretty irrelevant. Even though all movie opinions are pretty irrelevant.
On another note, I finally watched the new Rambo. The most brutal movie Ive seen since Private Ryan and Braveheart. Balls out bad-ass movie.

The Ruins
--- Horrible movie. I hated it.
Hellboy 2
--- Kind of a disappointment. Lacks the fun and humor of the first movie. It's still alright, though.

I'm glad you just said this, because I'm hearing awful things about it, but I figure it has to at least have a few solid moments

Like to know what Johnny's motivation was in creating that character!

Awesome. Right there with Iron Man as far as a quality blockbuster goes. Hopefully Dark Night blows them all away Thursday night.

Took my nephew to see Speed Racer today. It was a pretty good movie. I guess I should say I was a fan of the cartoon growing up. But the movie did have good laughs and some really kool racing action. I'll say it was a little on the long side but other than that it was well worth seeing. Two thumbs up from me.

Damn you and your pre-British releases!
I saw Kung Fu Panda the other day. It didn't make me laugh a whole lot (though one or two bits were hilarious; the slow motion and the bit on the bridge), but I didn't think that it would. The action sequences though,
wow!, top notch stuff. I'd definitely see it again.
