'Rec' was great.. much much better then the similar movie 'Cloverfield'..

It's a Spanish movie but there's a USA remake to be released this year aswell called 'Quarantine'

Just watched Saw IV for the first time last night. I liked it.  ok Better than 2 and 3. First one is still the best but now after watching four I do not mind seeing what they do next.  smoking

El Orfanato (The Orphanage) : Awesome movie. I'm getting more impressed with anything Guillermo Del Toro touches. Like Pans Labrynth, this is a very twisted take on an old fairy tale premise. One of the best haunted house movies ever, especially in a time when the genre has been beaten to death.

No Country For Old Men : Wow. Was this really Javier Bardem's(sp?) first movie? He was great. For a very violent and relatively graphic movie it was slow paced and methodical and it worked. The ending kind of snuck up on me, so I need to go back and pay more attention to Tommy Lee Jones speach. I like how he was able to know what was going on the whole time, but just stay one step behind to avoid becoming to involved. Definitely lived up to the hype for me.

Just watched the movie "Bill," and it was quite good. If you get a chance to see it, I strongly suggest you do so.  smoking

One of the best films I've seen in a very very long time

Ma m?re (2004) - Starring Isabelle Huppert and Louis Garrel. This was definitely a different kind of film that I usually watch but I knew that going in. It was a good watch.

Transformers (2007) - It was okay but these films are seriously over hyped and too fake. Although, I had no problem watching Megan Fox. Shia LaBeouf is a good actor too.

The Postman (1997) - Finally watched this movie in it's entirety. Pretty good and one of Kevin Costner's better films he directed.

You liked the Postman??!! That movie was horrible. Almost everything about it was trash. An interesting idea that was horribly done.

I just watched War Inc. It was alright. Had some good laughs.  smoking

It was a good film, but only a one time watcher for me. Definitely not a dvd I will go out and buy.

Saw Iron Man and I thought it was excellent and I am not usually a fan of this type of movie at all.  Really enjoyed Robert Downey Jr. in this.

I know,  I thought the Mist and Cloverfield both had the opprotunity to be great movies. Then they both get ruined by the dumb ass looking "Monsters"  Retarded.

Oh the last one I sae was Rambo 4, pretty good.

The Debaters. Great movie with Denzel Washington. Probably a bit too cerebral for this crowd, but this is a really well-acted movie with a compelling (if somewhat predictable) story line. I think Denzel is one of the premier actors in the world. I highly recommend this movie if you want a strong acting cast and a very moving experience.

Thanks for the insult!

What do u mean too Cerebral for this crowd?

Most people here are extremely intelligent and I think Denzel is extremely overrated as an actor. He plays the same fuckin guy every movie. Seriously you cant ever tell his characters apart.
